Outstanding. This will work for me, as I'm just a hobbyist and not a picky dicky and don't need to make a dime with my mill.

I’m in the same boat, I feel that my mill has payed for itself just around the property and the relaxation I get from it. Happy milling!

A simple measuring tool that lays on the cant and has an adjustable screw that touches the top of the blade would be much easier than the tape measure. It was featured on the official WM fb group. Made one but haven't had time to try it yet. Should work awesome. Thanks for the vid fellow 126 owner👍😎👌

Nice , my sawhead drops 1/4 per 1 full turn of the crank handle. I will try this , thanks so much for sharing.

Yep great diy idea if you are only going to do a small lap siding job but if you need 500 pieces buy the attachment it will more than pay for itself if you have the need for large amount

This is great! I was thinking of doing this and it seemed like it would work in my head movies, nice to see it in practice. Good call on the new blade!

That siding looks great. Do you install it right away or let it sit a bit? tHanks for the video

Thank you. Just depends on most of the time I install green. There is plenty of overlap to cover for any shrinking. Thanks for watching!!!

I would imagine the same process would work for cutting/making live edge siding

Use should use a good straight edge or ruler or something other then the tape measure cause I notice you said just under 3/4 of a in that’s because when you measured down from the blade with the tape on the can’t the end of the tap was pissed in and then when you remeasured it you pulled the end of the tape etc giving you a different measurement. Anyway hope that helps. Good work 🎉 looks very time consuming but I was thinking of trying the same thing. 🎉

Check out red tool house , his jig is almost as simple as yours but I think his is easier to put under the cant.

I’ve never used the attachment but I would imagine it is and a lot cheaper!
