I found the video helpful. Not everyone getting into DJing knows every little thing in and out about Traktor. This video may not only help someone getting started today, but may still be referenced a year from now for someone getting into things. I still learned a thing or two and thought myself as pretty familiar with Traktor's interface. It's just a simple helpful breakdown of the user interface for people old and new. And even if you feel like you know things fully, refreshers on all the features are nice because you get into patterns of leaning on what you know.
NI please add some mappings for new mixers and controllers you guy's used to be the beat for this. Traktor pro 4 is awesome I just need a TSI for the DJM S11! But a Z2 MK2 mixer would do.

If you have tracks on a network drive and you select it within the explore in TP4 it seems to hang at loading and may or may not show the subfolders or tracks, Thus was fixed in TP3 but, TP4 has issues with it.
Make the waveforms on the list and clickable like rekordbox and route the preview like this! First thing you show is how to use a mouse to drag to the preview player. 2 steps instead of 1
The introduction of Traktor 4 has eliminated the familiar grid mark that I relied on. I used to load a track and immediately see the "White" button light up, signaling the track's beginning. If there was an error, I could easily hold shift, tap the button, and manually adjust the grid to restore that white indicator. Now, everything is blue unless I click Cue, and only then can I choose Fade or Fade Out to get an orange button. It feels like they've traded away this essential feature for the sake of the auto grid, which is so subtle that you can hardly tell if it’s functioning. Maybe this is just a marketing tactic to showcase four new features in Traktor 4.
good video, everything nice explained, but the background music drives me crazy, so hard to concentrate on what you saying, specially in the second half
What's totally missing for me is the option to put 4 decks next to each other in a row. I just couldn't get used to them being on top of each other, I keep reaching for the wrong channel on the mixer. Basically until there's a way to do that, traktor is a non option for me.
Why is NI making a vid for T4 like it just entered the market for the first time. This is all old news for existing users. Traktors main demographic is not gonna be new ppl, sorry. It’s going to be people who already own previous versions. My suggestion is to make “how to” videos that cater to those coming from previous Versions of Traktor. It’s completely insane how NI is going about this.

My response was questioning NI’s decision to make a TP4 features vid which cover features that have existed in earlier versions of traktor for a very long time. What we need is a video that covers the new features of TP4 and how they DIFFER from previous versions of Traktor. Their main user base (demographic) is existing Traktor users who are coming from previous versions of Traktor. As a longtime Traktor user none of this is new.

Network drives are not officially supported by any version of Traktor. If it worked previously, it may have been coincidental. 🤔

An update is coming soon that will bring back the grid mark’s previous behavior. Stay tuned for more details in the upcoming updates.
What is the cue mapping button about? Thanks!
When Hotcue Mapping mode is on, pressing a Hotcue button will map the displayed Cue Point or Loop In Point to it.
Literally the exact same setup as Traktor Pro 3.
