Hello, I followed steps for JMR540 and got success in every step. But post final reboot my any other sim(Airtel or VI) is showing in RED and its blinking. Please Suggest what can be the issue ? Also, firmware version is FXN_JMR540_R6.11. but somehow its not getting updated automatically as JIO sim is not in use for a long time.
Hey bro is there any option that i can use JioFi3 as wifi extender. By connecting JioFi3 to any wifi and share internet using JioFi3 hospot ?
Brother done whole process right but VI sim is showing red signal in jiofi3 (unable to use another sim)
When i opened jmr 50 unlocked packaged system file...then it showing:- the disk image file is corrupted
JioFi JMR541 just updated automatically to firmware version 3.16 and now others sims won't work. Dashboard is back to normal now. What should i do? till now Vi Sim was working fine now it shows invalid sim.

good video, but please correct one thing, the firmware of device should be at or below provided version, so please do not use the device with working SIM other wise it will update the firmware and then this wont work:
please read this from the XDA page:
UPDATE 17-10-21: Jio pushed a firmware update which is locking boot loader. If your device is not updated yet it is advised to re-flash your firmware with patched image given below which basically disables auto updates. If you're already locked out, currently there's no easy fix for that.
If you haven't used your device from a long time or you're still on lower or equal version than below it is advised not to use JioFi with SIM, flash this firmware first if you want to test SIM unlock.
It is giving an error disc file is corrupted. I downloaded again but same error.
Hi, fastboot process done successfully but jiofi shows red signal ever after doing properly.

Bro, after resetting device it got disconnected,
So i am not able to fastboot devices and if i disconnect it it will back to normal mode and if i reset it again then again it got disconnected.
All drivers are properly installed and i have restarted my system also

Any idea what will happen if I install 540 firmware in 541 device?
@@ram3shyadav both firmwares are cross compatible. JMR541 have different NAND so a different partition while they were updating partition schema they also cleaned up some code and updated binaries. Booted with the right kernel both will work fine. I’m not sure if governor or power settings is changed in 541 as binary sizes didn’t matched with 540 so that’s why I released separate firmware for both so they can remain as stock as they can.

recntly at the oct month update come after that this process wouldnt unlock your device, fornew update bootloader is not working properly. if you bought new jio fi dont insert any jio sim it automatically update and block to if you update the firmware. after you bought newly follow this processs(dont insert jio sim) and check with vi or airtel sim then BINGO. This process working newly devices!!!!!!(if your not yet inserted jio sim yet because of the update )

Intially got trouble in installing the driver later online driver download software solved the problem.Tested with two sims Working with airtel sim but not working with Bsnl. Great job 👍👍

Me kuch dino se yeh firmware use kar raha hu, isme ek problem hai ki device Temperature control nahi hota. Matlab wifi connect rakhke 10 minutes agar full speed se download karoge toh JioFi itna hot ho jayega ki lagega abhi ke abhi fat jaega. This issue needs to be resolved otherwise ye sirf browsing ke liye thik hai.
