I kind of don't get people being mad at Instalocking. Yes its annoying when a Jett or Reyna Instalocks duelist on your team but I think its better than them being forced to play an agent they have no idea how to play. If a duelist player who doesn't really know how to play controller or Initiator is forced into playing one by the teams fill needs chances are they'll hurt your team more than if they just played their comfort pick.
Look, I get it. It's done out of a lack of consideration for the rest of the team, but I understand and support your point: Playing with your strongest agent is the most important thing, regardless of team comp. The more variety and competent you are, the more composition matters. It's not quite like Overwatch.
@@ValorantUnlocked I get that. I don't like Instalocking myself and i play sentinel so i don't usually have to anyway. I only really do it when a new character comes out or i look to learn someone new. I do get it for some duelists though. If you don't instalock Jett the chances someone will do it before you is high, even if you try to explain yourself, but if you do instalock you almost immediately put immense pressure on you. I don't really like it and i find it can be annoying if 3 duelists lock in at the same time but in the end i find it more annoying when a would be duelist or initiator player fills controller and doesn't smoke correctly or when a initiator doesn't state their intent and ends up blinding their team. It's more i wish we would stop making people feel like garbage for doing so even if its annoying. Anyway, i like the content and I've been coming across your channel recently so i decided to subscribe.
Just bought a steam deck mk2 should be arriving tomorrow. I was wondering about the load out buys. Do you have to open the buy menu and then clikc the icon that’s programmed on your stream deck to buy the load out you programmed or is it possible to press the button and immediately have bought your load out.

There are reasons to instalock, especially if you can't play other agents. But yes, the more skilled you are, the more variety is present.
