I have nothing else to say, but to say a very big thankyou. You have helped a lot of gcse students including me, obviously. You are very much appreciated🙏
@@Freesciencelessons hello sir, when working out the r.f value in paper chromatography:if the unkown sample makes 2 dots on the paper once its moved up it, do you figure out the rf value from the furthest dot, then carry on as normal to find the full r.f value?
@@haroonaltaf-nh3jvhope its not to late. You calculate to separate r.f values as the substance contains to different dissolved substances. So you calculate each on individually.
Quarry = Big holes dug into the Earth and then resources are transported out of them using machinery. Mining = Using an axe in a cave or drilling tools, possibly releasing harmful gases.
Will these videos still cover all Edexcel content? I know you work from the AQA spec but are they similar enough that I can use your videos to revise everything?
Hi. Essentially yes but there are a few differences. When I've finished the AQA videos, I'm going to make some specifically for the Edexcel bits (but there really are only a few).
Steel is an alloy of iron. We use a blast furnace to produce iron from iron ore. If we add scrap steel to a blast furnace, then the iron in the steel simply adds in to the iron produced by the blast furnace. So that means that we need to add less iron ore to the blast furnace.
I’ve nearly watched all your chemistry paper 2videos in today alone, I have to wake up early tomorrow so I can finish the final topic after this. Thank you for your help! Good luck for tmrw for anybody who sees this

POV: you look to comments to see people praising freesciencelessons
Absolutely brilliant videos and are a must for my daughters GCSE revision. I do think you should have taken Christmas Day off though 🙂.

Hello! When is your revision workbook going to be out? Love your videos by the way, thank you so much.
I do not get the difference between quarrying and mining. Are not they the same ?

Mining = Using an axe in a cave or drilling tools, possibly releasing harmful gases.
Noooo, where's the old intro song.
THANK YOU FOR THIS! you really help :) absolute legend.
can you please make a video about vectors in physics? including the parallelogram rule. It would really help!
Yes that will be coming up in January.
Chemistry paper 2 today, been watching your videos for 2 years now and ill get this 9 because of you. You're much appreciated sir thank you🙏🏽

first comment. love your videos :)

we do
Sir, how does adding scrap steel to iron in a blast furnace reduce the amount of iron that we need to extract from iron ores?

Watching these videos day before exam I am revising fast with your vids
Are all your 9-1 Science videos appropriate for the OCR Gateway Specification
