I am Baptist and this song was used for our choir processional. Thank you Cogic yall took me back to the good old days when we sang hymns Praise him!!!!
I grew up in a Seventh-Day Adventist Church, and we are singing this song when the congregation is fellowship with one another, greeting and welcoming new members and guests.
@@ToneCabinet this is one of my favourite congregational hymn singing videos here on youtube and the hymn leader was powerful. Bless the Lord. I guess the COGIC are like charismatic Baptists
This very rendition of this song has been on my mind all week though I've never heard it before. This kind of music is just in the playlist of our souls.
'In Christ there is no east or west in Him no south or north, but one great fellowship of love throughout the whole wide earth.' May God continue to bountifully bless the Church of God in Christ and Greetings from the Bahamas.
I am proud to be a COGIC preacher and organist, and I love this hymn. This is the Church of God In Christ, you can't join it, you got to be born in it, this is the Church of God In Christ. I was born and raised in this church.
Lol of course one can join COGIC. This Church's doctrine is based on Apostolic teaching of the New Testament which means there exists no partiality. All are welcome
I agree anybody can join the Church of Christ if they repent and believe the gospel and get born again (Acts 2:37-38). However, there are many doctrines of the Apostles' that Cogic does not believe. So i disagree that they are founded on the doctrine of the apostles. Some of these include: 1 timothy 2:9-15,1 Corinthians 11:3-7, Acts 2:38,Acts 10:46-48, Mark 10:11-12, 1 Corinthians 14:33-37
What a fellowship, what a joy divine leaning on the everlasting arm What a blessedness, what a peace is mine Leaning one the everlasting arm Oh yes I’m leaning on, Jesus Christ my savior Safe and secure from all alarm Leaning on, Jesus Christ my Savior Leaning on the everlasting arm. Oh how sweet to walk, in this pilgrim place Leaning on the everlasting arm Oh how bright the path, Glows from day to day Leaning on the everlasting arm. Oh yes I’m leaning, leaning. Safe and secure from allllll alarm. Oh yes I’m leaning on Jesus, Christ my Savior Leaning on the everlasting arm. What have I to dread? What have I to fear Leaning on the everlasting arm I have blessed peace, with my Lord so near Leaning on the everlasting arm. Oh yes I’m leaning. Leaning on Jesus. Safe and secure from all alarm Oh yes I’m leaning, leaning, Leaning on the everlasting arm. Oh yes I’m leaning on Jesus Christ my savior Safe and secure from all alarm. Oh yes I’m leaning, leaning. Leaning on the everlasting arm. Leaning leaning Safe and secure from all alarm Leaning on the everlasting arm.

This sounds like singing from a Missionary Baptist Church Convention. Just beautiful and it made me get up and start singing along
You do know the COGIC came out of the Baptist church as C.H. Mason was raised Baptist.
