Arlene_witha_y, I am almost sixty and I've went through the same live in-live out situation as did you and after living alone for YEARS now I really consider it a badge of honor. The ONLY shit I have to smell is mine and I don't have to clean up anybody's mess, just the one's I make. Don't ever feel ashamed to live in your own world and be able to do what you want and when you want. I won't trade my freedom and solitude for anything ever again. It's also my pleasure to meet you through RUclips as well!
That’s great to hear! Thank you for sharing! I never thought I would come to love living alone but it has finally happened. Because living alone doesn’t mean you’re lonely. Not having anyone in your life is lonely. I have connections and friendships/ relationships but i love my space and my alone time! I couldn’t agree with you more! And I made a video talking about how i now believe that marriage and cohabitation can actually ruin lovely romantic relationships and now lean more towards the “living apart together” idea. It’s very new but sounds very appealing to me. The video i made has written on the thumbnail “is it really necessary” and it’s basically about marriage and or living together in order to have a relationship. I don’t think we have to do that anymore.
@@Arlene_witha_y I appreciate your timely response, it was great to hear from you! throwing marriage out of the conversation because that is the pinnacle of relationships, I will tell any younger guy whether it be a coworker or just someone that I know that the plan to cohabitate it basically a death sentence for a relationship. If you have an argument and can't leave the domicile, it's the WORST because the anger just simmers, and you both suffer. Having your own place is mentally and physically the best. If it's her place, you both have an argument, and she says get out...where are you going to go?
Also, again as people get older while seeing and having the circle of friends become smaller is a blessing too! you start to declutter your life is so many ways. That's one of if not the GREATEST life experience I've had. Have a GREAT week!
