It's easy if you've got on a certain outfit i ended up having mio as a tacktision and the outfit for that already has a long scarf so with the hair it'll just look messy also you can change it in the options menu whenever so this choice isn't really all that permanent

I would choose long too because it demonstrates a progression and it's a reminder Mio is now in M's body.

If anyone else is confused about why Eunie suggests Noah is because Noah is the only one in the group with such long hair. If you look at him without his ponytail (I'm talking about N) you can see.

@@jg_ultra Well yeah, I know that. But theres a field voiceline (these only happen if you chose short haired Mio), where Mio asks Eunie if she wants to cut her hair short, and she says "If it gets as long as Noah's, I'll think about it."

This is a great scene but it's always been funny to me that her response to 'why don't you ask Noah' is 'It's my problem and mine alone' when she's right in the middle of asking Eunie and Sena to decide for her.
It wasn't for Noah specifically - who is essentially her boyfriend at this point - to decide, it's a girl thing i don't rly know how to explain it...
"Why don't you ask your man?" isn't really something that you'd tell a woman to do when she can't decide on something, especially something like her hairstyle, that's why she went to her gal pals instead
That sentiment is likely amplified here after spending a month with N, and not wanting to have Noah choose or do things for her / separate from that possessiveness she's likely been experiencing over the past 4 months
Besides we all know his answer would have been long anyway and she clearly wasn't too fond of that hassle xD

Team Long hair because after hitting this point after nearly 80 hours I was ready for some change lmao. Also choosing short hair just felt like ignoring the whole body swap scenario for me, like keeping the long hair is a reminder of the arc Mio just completed and makes it feel like a new chapter for her somehow
Yeah, had to choose long because I like having opportunities for your characters' appearances to evolve through the story.

I still always love Manana's reaction when Mio yells "IT'S A PAIN TO WASH", like. Suddenly going "okay not Manana's business". 😂
Also this perfect 50/50, I'm sure it was intended in the last few votes. Chat streams are like that after all hehehe. (I picked long hair because hey, some change about Mio's appearance won't hurt haha)
This was an easy choice for me. This is the most relateable scene in any game I've ever played. Mio's frustations with the long hair are exactly why I will never grow my hair out ever again. I chose short in my first playthrough.
Oddly enough though, in my second playthrough I chose long just to switch it up and I actually like the long hair on her more.

Ah yes, the most toughest decision ever made in gaming history, LONG MIO OR SHORT? No but seriously this was a difficult decision for me too because I lovvvvvve Mio short hair, but as Mio said, the long hair is a representation of M. I choose the long hair as a way to reminder of M’s sacrifice and idk I’m so sorry Mio, I know the body belongs to you now and technically you guys kinda fused together in a way but I would have felt a little guilty cutting it even though I like you short hair more.
ALSO THAT PART WHERE IT BECAME 50/50 YOU KNOW EVERYONE HAD A SAY ON BOTH OPTIONS LOLLLLL. Harry knew it was fate with the 50/50 to the choose long hair. He saw the opportunity and went for it lolllllll.

The funny thing is, Noah kinda decided for Mio in the end this time 😉.
I'm Team Short all the way because I'm a girl with straight hair, have grown it out a few times, and can confirm it's an absolute pain to manage. To the point where one of my first thoughts about M was, "Ooooh the long hair is pretty. Looks like a pain to manage, though."
I chose long for 2 reasons:
1) I prefer the long hair look.
2) It is a visual mark of her character arc, as well as your place in the story.
In short (pun not intended) it was a very easy decision compared to "coffee with milk".
This was so crazy! I actually can't believe it was 50/50 EXACTLY. Also I'm long hair gang, so it was pretty satisfying to see harry tiebreak it and pick long hair

I’d like to point out that regardless of what he picks he can change it anytime in game settings. It’s not like the choice you make in chapter 8 of xc2. Even so, the poll vote count was hilarious.

Man, I honestly spent like 10 minutes on this decision because I thought my pick would be final like with Pyra and Mythra in XC2. 🙃 Ended up picking short as to not accidentally spoil my partner who was still at a much earlier point in the game.
I seem to be alone here, but this was the easiest choice in the world for me. I like long hair, simple as that.
I went long as well. But once I did post-game stuff I switched back and forth.
Went short, myself, really just because it's clear that's what she actually wants. She's put up with enough crap over the past 3 months, let her enjoy her newfound freedom. She was gifted that body and she should own it. Retaking control of her own life and enjoying it is as good of a way as any to respect the gift and sacrifice, imo.
And for my own part, it's part of her identity, it suits her and it's just right. She may even comment on it as you make your way to the Aetia region if you picked short, remarking happily that it's what Noah is used to. And if you pick long, she'll second-guess her choice and Noah responds: "I think you should do whatever makes you happy." More points for short, imo.
Agreed. Not just that, but as someone who used to have long hair I totally sympathize with her, I couldn't tell you how much EASIER it is to deal with short hair.
Apart from that, being able to change it in the menu is great as I think that a few clothes look better with short hair and others with long hair.
Speaking of washing hair..... How does Sena's situation work?
I imagine its like a battery fire in that it's just really hard to put out with simple water.
So a shower is gonna make a lot more steam than normal but otherwise the hair will be fine.
I'm more of a short hair person myself. I love the hair physics, but there's honestly just something about long-hair Mio that just doesn't click with me lol
I always went with short as M wanted to vanish so it didn't feel right keeping her hair around

A latrine is a bathroom. Typically a public one, but it can also be used for the one in your house

Mio's long hair is really pretty but I preferred her short hair because that's what I was used to for pretty much the whole game (Mio also seems to like it much more lol)
so i guess noah picked it for her in the end anyways
