Above & Beyond's Anjunabeats label imprint celebrates its 20th birthday this year. As part of the celebrations, the band is releasing a 24-track collection of their popular 'Club Mixes'.
The selection spans 15 years and contains the band's most influential, and essential, catalogue. The timeline begins in 2006 with the iconic ‘Alone Tonight’ featuring Richard Bedford right up to now; ‘Bittersweet & Blue’ once again alongside Bedford and for the first time as a single, 'Cold Feet' with Justine Suissa
Songwriters first, producers second, Above & Beyond's most enduring to dance music often won't begin life as a club-ready 12. From scribbles in a notepad, to headline sets at the world's biggest dance music festivals, each track that receives the 'Club Mix' treatment goes on a journey. Above & Beyond Club Mixes reimagine the original material, amplifying the energy, but never at the expense of a song's emotional core.
In this mix compilation, the band's full spectrum of songwriting and production skills is on display. You'll find club versions of singles from the albums Tri-State (2006), Group Therapy (2012), We Are All We Need (2015) and Common Ground (2018) plus a few rarities ('Out Of Time', 'Is It Love (1001)' )
The band's close-knit family of collaborators are all here - Zoë Johnston, Justine Suissa, Richard Bedford - alongside guests including Gemma Hayes, Marty Longstaff and Alex Vargas.
This essential collection of Above & Beyond hits is available on all digital music platforms on Thursday, May 21.

@@Cookieboy70 Well, i think it' s a good soundtrack in the beginning of the workout. But when i start to lift serious weight and i'm already warm, I switch to AC/DC, Pantera, etc. So I'm able to squeeze the last drops of energy....

while most people told me they like A&B, some people said they don't really..so I'm thinking that A&B music primarily attracts an extraverted audience, well that's just a guess. You can hear that the music is like a cross between pop and tranquil chillout music. Some people are not into this

Absolutely love this. However, arguably their best club mix - Miracle - is sorely missed. I imagine it would be the encore of this set.
That was oceanlab... the above and beyond club mixes of miracle, breaking ties and on a good day are the absolute pinnacles of trance perfection for me.
