The great devourer was the overlord himself who possessed a snake and he's also guilty for the trauma that Harumi got on childhood, with a little help from that stupid doctors saying that the ninja didn't helped, but the overlord was the beginning of all evil of ninjago, that's not shocking cuz he's literally the devil.

Garmadon perhaps one of my favorite characters was never destined to be evil he was just written because he's half Evil half Good so there's not really a way to classify him, Besides for some reason he hates Lloyd and doesn't remember being good at all. I wonder why him out of every character in Ninjago he has to be the Ninja's main villain.
This does kinda makes me wish we couldve had a real interaction between young wu and young garmadon and the ninja as this wu wouldve still been wu but with a younger less experienced yet very experienced personality
I recommend the Spinjitzu brother books! There's only four and they're pretty quick reads. They're about young Wu and Garmadon and how they interacted as teens!
