So based on the Storyline, Animal team gave a reply to javed akhtar saying "her love was fake and actually she wanted to trap Ranvijay and his father,,,,so after knowing this Ranbir Kapoor's character asked her to lick his boot"* . Also they added that javed akhtar wouldn't have Questioned the same thing when a woman says to a man to lick her boot if he cheats her.

In the film most of the male characters are grey in shades.
Also the director himself said that Ranvijay is neither a good guy nor all of his actions are morally correct.

I cannot believe that Animal's team chose to respond in such an immature fashion, talking like insecure alpha dudes on the internet and going with the absurd argument of 'if a woman did this, you would have called it feminism'. The point is, the movie is not just an unbiased story with no gender playing part in it. They've glorified the alpha male trope, yet again. That's the problem and they just can't seem to understand it.
Very well said! But that been said let's not forget that they have also shown it's disadvantages as the character proceeds in the story (losing it all) leaving us (the audience) to think on our own.

इन्होंने Animal देखी ही नही है ना ही कबीर सिंह देखी है ये एक Animal का संवाद बता रहे है दूसरा कबीर सिंह मूवी पर निर्देशक का रियल लाइफ बयान बता रहे है वो भी आधा ये है आज की परेशानी कोई एक समाज का घोषित ज्ञानी या बड़ा आदमी है उसे जब कोई समाज पर राय रखने को बोला जाता है तो वो सिर्फ अपने पॉइंट्स को अपने Sabdo को अपनी बातो को अच्छा सुंदर और सभ्य घोषित करने के लिए ऐसे ऐसे Example देता है जिनको इन्होंने ना तो सही से जाना है ना पहचाना है ना अध्यन किया है बस सुनी सुनाई बातो पर ज्ञान पेल रहे है Animal में Jutte चाटने का बोलने पर कही से भी लड़की का अपमान नही है वो एक दोखरबाज इंसान को बोला गया है क्यो की वो बोला में अब वफादार बन गया हु तब उसे परखने के लिए रणविजय ने ऐसा बोला जब वो ऐसा करने लगती है वो हट जाता है क्या उसने Jutta चटवाया दूसरा कबीर सिंह में साहिद का पात्र अपनी प्रेमिका की सगाई में आ जाता है उसकी मर्जी के खिलाफ सादी हो रही है वो वहा हंगामा करता है गुस्से में होता है उसकी प्रेमिका उसे रोकती है समझाती है बार बार वो गुस्से में पागल हो रखा होता है और वो प्रेमिका को एक थपड़ मार देता है इसपर बवाल होने पर Director Reddy Saheb ने बोला था की अगर कोई लड़का लड़की गंभीर प्रेम संबंध में है और किसी वजह से दोनो Mese एक भयंकर गुस्से में है और उसका पार्टनर उसे रोक रहा है बार बार तो ऐसे रिश्ते में हाथ चलना कोई असंभव बात नही चाहे लड़का हो या लड़की हाथ चला सकता है और ऐसा हर जगह होता आया है होता रहेगा अगर प्रेमी प्रेमिका को किसी वजह से गुस्से में एक थपड़ मार भी देता है तो क्या इस से दुनिया खतरे में आ जाएगी क्या लड़कियों का जीवन खतरे में आ जाएगा क्या कोई संकट आ जाएगा क्या ये सब समाज में होता नही क्या हा हर प्रेमी या हर प्रेमिका ऐसा नही कर सकते लेकिन कबीर सिंह जिस तरह का पात्र है जिस तरह का उसे दिखाया है High Temper और लापरवाह तो क्या वो ऐसा नही कर सकता लेकिन वो दिल का साफ है दिल से मन से वफादार है ईमानदार है वही अगर वही पात्र कोई दोखेबाज होता बेइमान होता और उसे थपड़ मारते दिखाते तब बात गलत होती तब डायरेक्टर ने बोला और जावेद साहेब ने सुनी सुनाई बाते यहां बोल के खुद को ज्ञानी साबित करने के चक्कर में खुद का मजाक उड़ा लिया जावेद साहेब जेसे की सबसे बड़ी Problem है खुद Sandeep Reddy तभी दोनो संवाद का उदाहरण उन्होंने सिर्फ Reddy साहेब पर दिए क्यो की अब इन्हे लग रहा है की एक South से आया हुआ आदमी तेलगु से आया आदमी हिंदी में 2 मूवी बनाता है और दोनो All Time Blockbuster और Jisme Animal तो 2023 की सबसे बड़ी हिट और जिस तरह की उन्होंने दोनो फिल्म बनाई जिस तरह की Writting थी फिल्म की जिस तरह की पटकथा थी वैसा आजतक हिंदी सिनेमा में कोई लेखक कर ही नही पाया ये जावेद साहेब भी नही सलीम साहेब भी नही तब इन्हे गुस्सा आ रहा है खुद को असुरक्षित Feel कर रहे है तब लगा हुआ है 80% Bollywood Reddy Saheb को Target करने में उन्हें बदनाम करने में उन्हें नीचा दिखाने में और उन पर मानसिक दबाव डालने में ताकि वो एग्रेसिव हो और अगली फिल्म में इन सब बातो को वो दिमाग में रखे और अगली फिल्म में वो कोई बड़ी गलती करे Esbaar वो Perfect Film ना बना पाए और एक Director और Writter का ऐसा होता है वो अगर एकबार सिर्फ एक फिल्म में भी Fail हो गए तो वो Legend नही कहलाएंगे और Public उन पर इतना भरोसा फिर नही कर पायेगी एक हीरो Star चाहे 5/7 Film में Fail हो जाए उस पे भरोसा रहता है लेकिन एक Director Writter को हर बार सफल होना होता है अगर उन्हे बेस्ट और Legend बने रहना है तो जेसे अगर राजामौली साहेब आज भारत के बेस्ट और नामी Director है आज Public उन पे आंख बंद कर के भरोसा करती है क्यो की उन्होंने आजतक 12 लगातार सफल फिल्म दी है जिसमे 5 Atbb 3bb 3superhit 1hit Esa Track Kisi का नही तो अगर उनकी Next Film अच्छी ना बने और Flop हो जाए भगवान ना करे तो उस आदमी के Share समझो तुरंत 50% Down हो जाएंगे और एक असफल फिल्म से उनके Carrier पर दाग लग जाएगा और वो भरोसा नही रहेगा Jese हिरानी साहेब का हुआ 5 Atbb दी लगातार भारत के दूसरे सबसे अच्छे Director थे लेकिन एक Dunki में Fail क्या हुए सभी ने उनसे मूंह मोड़ लिया आज कोई उनपे वो भरोसा नही करता जो पहले करता था तो बात ये है Reddy साहेब को दिमाग पे असर डाल के उन्हे असफल करवाने का ये पूरा Sadyantra है Bollywood का Bhagwan करे Reddy Saheb ये अच्छे से समझ जाए और अगली फिल्म इसी तरह अपने विजन से अपनी बुद्धि से बिना किसी 1% दबाव के किसी 1% डर के बनाए और सफल हो भारत को और हमे ऐसे सच्चे ईमानदार विजनरी ज्ञानी और मेहनती Film Maker की सख्त जरूरत है

I like how unafraid he is. I guess a few things get easier with age. While most of the Bollywood supported the movie finally someone points out the problem. Rosamun Pike in Gone Girl isn't glorified,she gets away with it but it's clearly shown something is very off with her. Barry Keoghan in Saltburn wasn't glorified either but the story is a psychological thriller with a twisted antagonist/protagonist's aspirations..no one in anyway justifies it. But team Animal won't budge to justify their protagonist's heroics at any given chance.
Exactly! Deflecting important questions pertaining to social, mental awareness makes me wonder if the filmaker, director and it's 'hero' of that movie are irresponsible and/or morally not sound. Which makes this movie's success even more daunting for the society.

It's interesting to know that people only pinpoint the wrong things with Rosamund Pike's character and fail to realise Ben Affleck's character also had some serious flaws in Gone Girl, ultimately it depends on the audience how they interpret and validate a character's role.A mature audience would have definitely understood there were some incorrect elements in Animal movie.

Also, this ABSTRACT "role reversal" angle is used more so as an excuse to normalise REAL male psychopathy. I have seen kabir singh and I feel like it was an entertaining movie except some of the scenes. I was more eager to watch Animal after all the controversy and the deflecting opinions by the audience. But somewhere I saw a clip of the director saying something like irrespective of your gender if you can’t even slap your partner then it’s not love and I was like hell no dude…. A person with a mentality like that should not be encouraged no matter how good his work is.

Just got my shoes licked - in this country, daily, millions pick up 💩 poop entering into manhole. Javed Saheb is reflecting on the character of a society based on this movie. The reality, where in India, millions face violence, rape, and humiliation based on caste, color, economic status, and education. It's the same society that elects leaders based on their criminality, toxicity, and harm. inflicted on vulnerable individuals.
Just shows how today's actors , directors and writers can stoop to any level. Only goal is to make money. Atleast we as audience need to do better by rejecting films like animal.

This is true! It’s sad that Animal kind of movies becomes a hit. Vanga once said that just because he watched gangster movies in his childhood, he didn’t become a gangster. But he did become a nasty film director, thanks to those movies. If only highly educated people like doctors & engineers were to watch a movie then probably a movie like Animal won’t make a dent in the society but unfortunately most of the movie goers in India are uneducated or illiterate, who have a little to no knowledge about right or wrong. Whether people like it or not movies like Kabir and Animal are problematic period.
Then again, in Darling, the women had a very solid reason of getting back at the man like that, he kept them terrified, abused for years, ruining all their dreams and any chance of a happy and fulfilled lives. But here in Animal, the character of Ranbir Kapoor is just toxic towards women for no apparent reason, he just controls, abuses and breaks their trust for no fault of the women. So, I think, comparing that joke in the name of movie with movies like Darling, Bulbul etc. is a dire insult to justice. I think its quite obvious what the audience wants from Indian movies, we seen it from many south indian movies and north indian movies expect from bollywood. It’s obvious, there is a need for clear realism or reality in movies but keeping it nostalgic. Im honestly not suprised the fact that animal didn’t do well, it seemed like they were forcing their concept onto the audience with stylish clothes and expensive sets, aggressive scenes such as violence and kissing (which looked uncomfortable to watch) and alpha males as mentioned by many.
The audience would rather want equality between characters in movies, such as meri pyari bindu, bareily ki barfi, 2 states, love you zindagi, or at least move on from being so regressive with trends.

And I wont blame illeteracy because even literate people behave worse than illiterate ones; am sure we all read such news of domestic abuse, abuse of power etc. Until and unless, our society as a whole does not change its mentality, I dont think anything will improve. And I don't fully blame the movie makers because they are here to make movie and reaping rewards out of our stulidity. It's upto the audience to change and I hope it will gradually happen in the comimg generations.
