These ankle monitors do not only detect ethanol (the drinkable alcohol). Other alcohols are also detected and give a false positive. For example the acetone in nail polish. His bodypaint excuse is brilliant. Total bs of course looking at the measured values but brilliant.
@@veloc1tyTV you're makes excuses for criminals behavior. This guy drank when the court ordered him not to. He says he can't afford to test but can buy make up. You're just as stupid as he is
My guess is he has a plan beforehand as to where he is going to make his edits etc. etc., and doesn’t rewatch the video to make sure it looks good before posting. It’s super lazy and he probably didn’t even realize there is a mistake until people started commenting. Too late now. It’s just pure laziness
Oh, man, this dude is completing fazing out during Judge Fleischer's tough-love reprimand (11:54). In one ear, out the other. We are going to be seeing him again.
I looked up how SCRAM monitors work. They pump sweat off the skin and into a tiny fuel cell to test for alcohol. Any alcohol will burn in a fuel cell: grain alcohol, wood alcohol, rubbing alcohol (ethyl, methyl, isopropyl, respectively). So having alcohol-solvent body paint on your leg? Sweat + gravity could result in a false positive. Secondly, only 1% of consumed alcohol oozes out in sweat. So the device has to extrapolate an estimated BAC based on a small sample of sweat with a tiny bit of alcohol in it. So it wouldn't take much body paint contamination to throw a false positive. It's...plausible the SCRAM threw false positives. I guess. But then there's the DWI; Occam's Razor would favor him imbibing a few while DJ-ing.
I'm not an expert, but my gf showed me her fancy body paints and the activating spray she uses to get them to go from solid to liquid is a 100% ethanol solution. That mean's it dries off of the skin to set the color the same way you sweat out alcohol.
I really hate STUPID people who think you're as stupid as they are. 🤦 It goes onto your skin and evaporates into the air. It will NOT soak into your blood. I'm shocked the LAWYER expected the JUDGE to buy that nonsense.
your upload broke. it freezes at 4:06 oh wait it comes back at 8:00 probably just an editing mistake. you can prob just use youtubes tools to take it out while its still up
Alcoholic makeup needs to be written on this brand!! Incredibly unbelievable 😅I don't buy this story for a second,he needs to stop telling fairy tales and just take responsibility as a grown @$$ man like myself!!!!!
Even though this is entertainment for us its his real life. I been through this stuff before and I couldn’t imagine if my court was televised to the world on RUclips id feel like my life is over in terms of public perception. I hope he gets the help he needs and realizes alcohol isnt going to help his problems I hope he finds his purpose in sobriety. Depression is real and he’s battling demons and probably lost sight of what life is about. Family and goals over everything else!

I am SHOCKED he wasn’t remanded here. I’ve never seen this judge be so lenient.
It freezes up for a couple of minutes. What happened?
The world's worst action shot, freeze frame but I applaud the effort.
Your phone got hacked
It's a conspiracy maaaaaan!

Dude should have gone to jail the make up excuse is like saying the dog ate my homework
For a minute I thought I was doing makeup wrong
He has money for makeup but not to test.
It’s part of his job. Usually those of us that wear makeup or use it for our job do not have to go out and buy make up every day for God’s sake!
@@amielawhorn3537 don't make excuses for criminals. he has a job he can test. he is just using thats the problem.
I do hope children don't use that make up it'll kill a child that amount of alcohol! In the so called make-up 😢
my dude sloppy editing on this one. Why not fix the video rather then having 4 min of frozen screen and no sound......

This video says his initial reading was 0.08: as I recall from the first hearing it was.05. that makes a big difference.
By the way he says “I didn’t have a sip of akahaul” you know he’s loves drinking alcohol
😂
His posture: head tilted back and to one side, tells me he's not getting it. You don't see either lawyer standing like that.
I have this monitor on and dont use anything alcohol related like gel or cologne just to be safe, and not go through anything like this.
Hope you make it through, man. Take care of yourself out there.
oh yeah I got this drinking isn't an issue anymore I keep Myself busy with work and streaming every other day thank you.

What is fake? Are you saying the judge is fake? If so, how so?
At this point stop putting the makeup on IFFFFFF it’s causing this…..like come on now 😒
Lose the makeup for the DJ job and he should be fine
four minutes of nothing...
These defense lawyers read from the same damn script everytime with these thugs.............I am sick of it
Its their job to defend them even if they don't agree or think they are guilty.
part of the gig
Especially if these are public defenders who have a very short amount of time learning about the case before defending it.
It’s the sixth amendment ffs

He is a professional DJ. It isn't a huge surprise that he might be putting on a lot of body paint to create a certain look.
