This webinar aims to highlight the 3rd space endoscopy. Third space endoscopy is a direct spin-off from ESD and encompasses a whole new arena of therapeutic interventions that are based on creating submucosal spaces and tunnels while maintaining luminal integrity. “This so-called submucosal endoscopy has opened a novel and exciting era in endoscopic resection and treatment that goes in and beyond the muscularis propria”, says Dr. Arjun Koch. As in many endoscopic procedures, the electrical cut can be a challenge in some cases. Co-speaker Jens Bettin explains the physical reasons for this phenomenon and how modern spark recognition technologies help and how the device settings may be fine-tuned.
