Great video! The marketplace has no items available to sell on the AH. Read the descriptions again expansion scrolls & someone on the Gamigo team tweeted about the others saying EVERYTHING on the marketplace will be bound! If I find the tweet i'll post it here!

i wouldn't call alts P2W since they actually need to play the account, unlike swiping a credit card then you can upgrade your gear with no effort.

Hello Aired, I have watched many of your videos and your spreadsheets are always amazing and detailed.
I want to address something that might be a concern to others if I missed it while watching I am sorry but, all the Gilda locked behind the premium. There are 2 versions of the premium pass one is the one you buy with credits which is used for the 3 passes that cost 5 gold. The other premium is bought with in game gold and that is for the basic arche pass to get those premium rewards and all the Gilda.

I had a look on it on pts, for the gilda pass , to get the pemium , you need to buy a item for 10g ingame. the passes with the costumes etc, is with the credits

Hello Aired, I'm new to your channel and I'm thinking about trying out ArcheAge UInchained (never played before); however, as someone that has limited free time to devote to a game, I'm a little nervous about this labor system I'm hearing a lot about. It appears that they are implementing the Korean labor system, so that might help, but I'm still worried that the limited time I have to play will negatively affect my progression and enjoyment of the game.
I would love to get your input (as well as the input of others) as to whether or not it's worth it for someone like myself to get involved with this game knowing they have limited time to play and that the game seems to favor those with more free time or multiple/alt accouts. Thanks in advance!
Good question, I am in the same situation as you are. I'm working on many other projects now, so playing AA as I used to is not going to be a thing. However, for me, this is not an issue at all. That is because I don't spend much time worrying about PvP. Never have to be honest. I'm more interested in the economy and helping others. So in this sense, it doesn't really matter how fast or how much time I can devote to leveling my character. In fact, even on the test server with Media Early Access, many people have already passed me way up.
If you are like me, I don't think it matters at all how much time you have. On the other hand, if you plan on running trade packs as a lone wolf or want to try and be competitive in world PvP this game is no different than any other, the people who rush to the end game will, of course, trash you in open-world engagements like for you trade packs or in pvp events.
If you're just trying to relax run some dungeons, do faction events, perhaps run a small farm or whatnot, there is plenty to do that doesn't require any significant time sink. As far as labor goes, the Korean labor system, while it seems to be here doesn't really change anything IMO.
I guess to my answer to your concerns is, unless you want to be a hardcore pvper, time doesn't really matter. I hope this helps, be well.

I am like you in that regard. While I do enjoy PvP from time to time and have been dedicated and successful in the past, I've never been a strictly hardcore PvP player. I like experiencing everything a game has to offer and with Archeage, I am particularly interested in the economy, farming, being part of a guild and helping others, and the diverse class/skill system.
So, seeing as PvP in ArcheAge seems to favor/reward its players who dedicate the most time to the game, will I need to worry about being completely overmatched and constantly ganked by said players? I'd hate to invest in a game that is a lesson in frustration for those of us casual players with hectic schedules.

@@kryptonianjedi2607 It only becomes an issue if you let it. What I have found on the test server people (factions) band together to do their dailies, which are rewarding in their own right helping you to gear up via Hiram. Do CR/GR usually a group goes off to do Hiram dailies, bunkers, world bosses etc. In turn, you get the quest done quicker and in the safety of numbers. Where ganking usually occurs is when you're alone, running tradepacks perhaps or trying to farm Hiram alone during war time. None of which is necessary to progress.
If the live server is like the PTS server is (the paid one) than it is going to be a great game.

not a huge deal, but still :P
so it still kinda ends up ptw in the end by just using more alts, get diligence coins on them, buy the items that are not bound and sell them on auction to gain gold which you can then transfer to your main thus potentially gaining an advantage over those that do not go that route or have the time to play multiple characters each day to earn diligence coins on them. This was my concern when this version was first revealed and it seems that this will be able to be abused by people who are willing to buy and play with multiple accounts. Idk about you, but this raises some red flags for me
Sounds like you are looking for something to complain about to me. Game has to make money and if people can only have 2 alts the progression is limited but yes they will have an advantage over you. But these items were also said to all be bound and I think he misspoke about them being sellable. If not still not a huge deal as someone that puts in more money and time than you will have an advantage. Big deal....
@@Gnash-Gaming im not complaining, just pointing out that it may cause a potential alt abuse. Ofc all that really depends on how much effort one needs to make per character in order to obtain enough diligence coins to be able to get items to sell on auction. For all i know it may very well end up being a non issue but it also might be. This is one of those things that will have to be observed for a longer period of time as the game goes on. So yea, just a minor concern on my part that may or may not turn out to be true but still a valid concern imo. That said, this version of AA seems leagues better than the current one and i personally support what they are trying to do here, but lets not kid ourselves that all will be sunshine and rainbows...
At least they will have to work for it
@@GeorgeNoX I'm sorry but I'm tired of the crys of p2w in everything. By it's very nature an alt is p2w. Why is spending money on a game not suppose to be in some way better than people that dont. I understand some are less fortunate than others but where they have took drastic steps to even the playing field they have to be able to support the game and progress it and to do that it takes big $. So I'm all for spending a little extra to support a game and in return getting a small boost. But no one will be whaling out without putting in 3x the work anyone not using alts will. I personally will run my main and 2 alts to abide by the rules. But I know there are some out there that will go over the 3 and I hope they get banned before the burn out because I use to run 5 and it was a full time job
Isn't it slightly pay-2-win if you can buy regrade charms to make better equipment to sell to other players?

not when you cant swipe your card to get them, you need to play the game to get the credits to be able to purchase them.

They need to get rid of all the other currency types throughout the game and make it all reward diligent. make it where you can earn more than just from those quests you have to spend money to unlock this kills the game for new players, had alot of friends try the game found it was gated and left. they need to get rid of primum pass or make it earnable...thats still pay2Win trash.

to get all the premium rewards i need to spend 1500 or 4500 credits?
Looking into this, not 100% sure. Test server you can't buy anything right now. We'll know before it launches on the 15th if Gamigo hasn't already answered it.
The way it looked to me is you can buy the premium pass for 1500. Which unlocks a premium side to all the reward tracks. It just cost 5 gold to switch to those track but the premium pass is active across all for that month . Not sure if its per month or per season.
