Okay so as ALL of you may know I've been uploading every single Gym Leader and Champion battle this game franchise has ever created. I figured I'd squeeze one last video out of all of these clips. To be honest, this was sitting on my hard drive for about a week now, I just haven't uploaded it for some reason. :P
The Order of the Gym Leaders go by regions and each time the music changes is when a new region is being shown.

To everyone asking about the black and white outfit during the Unova Gym Leaders and Alder scenes, there's no way to obtain that in game. I left it in the description, but I'll leave it in a pinned comment since I'm getting several comments a day about it. I hacked the game to change the colors of the outfit. There's nothing more to it than that. Sorry to disappoint.

If you really think about it, Gen 5 was the best region. it might've had some weird Pokemon (I'm looking at you Klingklang), but think: music, battles, difficulty, legionaries, concept, PWT, and a timeline, which Magikarp knows is all wonky in Pokemon.
Leave my guy Klinklang alone, it looks dope as hell. Sentient gears ftw. Ultimate aesthetic.

That's basically Generation 6 in a nutshell.
Duck More like just Kalos, ORAS is pretty good. But I really want to see the PWT come back in Gen 7.
+The Victator ...You cannot be serious. ORAS had the incredible fortune of having multiple predecessors with great post-games. Battle Frontier, Battle Subway, PWT! You know what they chose? Battle Maison. The thing they could just recycle assets for, regardless of how lame it was compared to the others.
HiroProtagonest Yeah the postgame for ORAS pissed me off. I really liked the improved aesthetic and stuff though, it felt like a return to form for Pokemon after the weirdness that was X and Y

Watching this honestly makes me so hyped for the gen 4 and 5 remakes. I started out with gen 4, but gen 5 is why all time favourite
B/w 2 WAS the remake of b/w, and for d/p... well... we’ll see
It's not the remake... The remake is, as the name says, a re make of the whole game, so it would be the same, but maybe with better graphics and more pokemon. So it's not a remake, just a sequel.
I wonder if they'll remake BW, B2W2, both as separate pairs of remakes, or both combined into one pair of remakes (the Kyurem stuff could be part of the post-game, and Ghetsis could take your legendary and N's and turn Kyurem back into the original dragon)
(and hopefully they also include the Pokémon World Tournament)

Frand Poakswert B2W2 were sequels.
You can feel the dofferent personalities from each gym leader so accurate, something that wasn't possible in the early games
Tbh i feel like gen 5 is peak gym leader design since the games actually gave a lot of them stuff like jobs beyond their gyms.
And their designs also reflect their jobs as well which is pretty cool too and hints on some of their hobbies too.
For example
Trio gym leaders have waiter uniforms that reflect their occupation at their restaraunt gym
Lenora has a librarian fit that helps her clean dusty books and also looks cozy
Roxie's outfit is that of a punk rocker mixed in with club aesthetic
Cheren wears slightly informal teacher's attire showing that he is still growing as a gym leader and a teacher
Burgh is an arthoe
Elesa actually wears camp fashion runaway outfit in 2nd game and in the first game she has outfit that reflects more of a model photoshoot gig
Clay is an oil tycoon
Skyla is not only wearing an outfit that more reflects her relationship with flying types, but she also wears sports fit which would imply that she could be into acrobatics also her outfit also takes some design elements from skydiving
Brycen not only practices martial arts, but also has a gig as a movie star do having a flashy outfit does kinda make sense for him oh also a lot of people on movie business need to stay fit for roles so that would tie his martial arts aspect with his movie star job
Marlon's tan lines imply that he is always close to sea and also allergic to shirts, but also his pants seen to take inspiration to diving gear so maybe along with being strong swimmer he is also excellent diver.
Drayden has a traditional office worker fit, coupled with excercise gloves and spikes which not only show him as mayor who prefers action, but also is a nice way to show that he likely trains with his dragon pokemon.

I wouldn't go as far to say it'll never return, at the very least it may come back during B2/W2 remakes.
Rubycario I hope it does, with gen 6 and 7 having happened. I guess it's less me thinking it won't return, and more I'll be amazed if they go the extra mile for this
Eventually I assume they will. It just may be a while into the Switch's lifetime before they consider it. The Battle Tree wasn't quite the PWT, but they ended up remodeling several characters, even going as far to redesign some of them, so I wouldn't say it's out of the question. That being said, I'm really hoping it comes back eventually, too.
In Gen 8.... maybe we will see something as good as this

Imo no one beats Red's coolness, I really hope Red makes an appearence in the Alola region that would make me so happy. I just find Red silence and his hat over his eyes too badass making me respect him.
It would be great if Red was in Pokemon Sun and Moon since his poor Charizard has been brutally beaten up for 16 years, he would finally get a chance to shine with his mega evolution.
+Neko Warrior Wouldn't matter with the player getting a mega evolution as well. People will always beat the AI
Red's Charizard pretty much is so bad you can't even count it as a pokemon. But once it mega evolves, it's a pretty decent sweeper. So I think Red will benefit more from a mega evolution than others.
I don't know where I heard this, but I think I remember something saying you will be able to battle all of the champions on a boat in sun and moon.

God I miss sprites. Sprites just had so much more mystique to them, and somehow demonstrated enough character about the npc for you to get a gist of what they're like and still be curious about their personality.
why didn't they just keep Tate and Liza as a pair?

Kanto: Lt. Surge (Gotta love his Raichu and his personality in the anime)
Johto: Morty (So chill, so cool)
Hoenn: Flannery (The only gym leader to be a gym leader for 3 days when Ash battles her. Gotta love her forgetfulness and the fact she was the only gym leader to be caught on fire when first introduced )
Sinnoh: Volkner (Because all the other Sinnoh leaders were a joke compared to this one)
Unova: Cilan (Who doesn't love this connoisseur? Polite and elegant with a graceful battling style)
Favorite Champion: Lance (He's freaking Lance! But I hate his 3 dragonites and found him to be hardest. Cynthia is not too far from his stance.)

Koga should have at least been included. He is after all one of the original eight gym leaders in Kanto. If they can recycle the same type of trainers like Tate and Liza, I don't see why there's no Koga and Janine.
+Chong yang .ng Because Koga was a Elite Four member in G/S/C and HG/SS, which was 3 years after the events in R/B/Y and LG/FR, so if it were to appear, people would complain about why other E4 members don't.
No problem. :) I can't wait for it either so I can understand the story as I play through it this time. :P

All Gym leaders and Champions from every region had the same animations except for Hoenns. Johto had a remake in the DS and the Gym Leaders from Kanto where on the DS in Heart Gold and Soul Silver. Diamond/Pearl/Platinum was on the Nintendo DS and so was White/Black/White 2/Black 2. Hoenn Was never on the Nintendo DS. Only on the 3ds until Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire. It would be cool to see Hoenn on the Nintendo DS since every region was on the DS except Hoenn. Like if you agree.
Technically neither was Kanto. Well, I know it was in HG/SS but just Kanto alone. Last time Kanto was the focus was alongside Hoenn.

The Kanto gym leaders are there JUST because they appear in GSC, so they would be in the remakes.
Each past gen got a remake when they grapichs were improved:
RBY got a remake when RSE was released in GB Advance
GSC got a remake when PDPt was released in NDS
RSE got a remake when XY was released on 3DS
No offense, but making a DS game for RSE would be basically a waste of time

Hard agree with AceMercer AMV on that. As for DPPt remakes, it’s very likely we’ll be getting them on Switch after Gen 8 debuts, considering the pattern Game Freak has been going. I say the Switch because the 3DS is probably going to be obsolete if not overshadowed by then.
It’ll be really amazing to see Sinnoh reimagined on consoles too!

Back when I made these videos I was getting into ROM hacking for Gen V. I hadn't planned on battling the Unova Gym Leaders or Alder do to them being too recent at the time. However, my subs wanted to see me fight them, the only problem with that is, at the time, a White 2 ROM wasn't exactly easy to come across do to links being removed because of how new the games where, and I'd already edited this ROM, so I just left it in.
Short Answer: I manually changed some things via Hex editing.
