To a lot of people of a certain age Marlo Thomas will still be "That Girl." Also, St. Jude's is one of my mom's favorite charities to give to.
That’s amazing. Pure amazing.
I just love Marlo Thomas.
Cute kids
Imagine a world where everyone took care of everyone in such a way. It's tragic that we have to campaign to help anyone in need, but wow, St Jude is amazing.
Shari, this is wonderful, such precious kids. Your mom Terry is looking down on them from Heaven. When we were teenagers Terry and I would always say your mom looked like That Girl, Marlo Thomas. You are beautiful like your mom. God bless your family and thanks to St. Jude.
Marlo Thomas is a national treasure! I just love her, and Phil. This is a wonderful story of hope.
Does Marlo make 2.5 million a year from st Jude? She loves the kids?
Marlo is an amazing human being but she now resembles Jocelyn the cat lady of NYC. What in the world did she do? Yes looks great for close to 90 (86) , but very very scary. Unless it's something medical, she's unrecognizable now. My gosh.
It’s nice that Kelly Clarkson show highlights more than just movie stars and famous singers ,but highlights real people on her show as well.
St Jude's Research Hospital ..a Blessing indeed .Danny Thomas was an amazing man. marlo thank you for continuing this battle to save the lives of our Children..God Bless you and all those dedicated Drs and research that works endlessly..
Btw: Marlo is 86. amazing.
Ive been a Danny Thomas fan since I could walk ❤ 1st thing I did with my 1st "real" paycheck was send it to St. Jude❤❤❤ still to this day I donate ❤❤❤
Thank you for donating. Other kids now have WAY HIGHER CHANCES of surviving. Because of people like you.
What Danny Thomas started and Marlo has carried on the Legacy.. Just Amazing .... Saving Lives... .Just Miraculous:) what a blessing
I is an amazing blessing.
I hope this foundation will be here to the end of times. This foundation saves lives so hopefully even after Marlo Thomas and Phil Donahue passes. That their foundation will survive without them. But hopefully they have many years to come to help this foundation survive.
What Ms. Thomas said about noticing the needs of others is such a key. All of us have something to give, even if it is just a smile or a hug. Thank you Kelly for showcasing this wonderful organization. Keep smiling Slater, you have so much to live for. Blessings and many hugs from an old Canuck down in Colombia.
Thank you so much!
Thanks for inviting us, Kelly! Amazing unforgettable experience. The tree lighting was amazing!
I have loved Marlo Thomas, Danny Thomas and St. Judes Children’s hospital my whole 61 years of life. Every time I see Marlo Thomas I feel younger, healthier and happier. It must be that St. Jude’s divine, ethereal magic. Thank you Marlo for continuing the legacy Danny Thomas planned and created to help children survive illness, treat the family as well, cover all costs and give everyone the best first class care available. God bless you Marlo Thomas. 🙏 Way to go Slater, you’re a walking miracle. God has big plans for you. What a warrior you are. You battled cancer and won victoriously. You can do anything! I love Slater’s family too. Slater’s brother is so cool, sharing his memories as a young child arriving at St. Jude, just rolling with it, then realizing his brother was sick and eventually (the word he chooses to describe a year and a half) his brother got better and when he says “we have him here today” the smile on his face, so precious, that is the picture of brotherly love. What these two boys survived together. Wow. That’s a strong lifetime bond of loyal love. ❤️ Thank you Kelly for this heartwarming miraculous story and a reminder of how precious each and every life is and how many lives have been saved because of St. Judes Children’s hospital. 🙏
THANK YOU SO MUCH
Marlo and Phil two people who are so kind and caring
I love the fact he is cancer free. I would like to congratulate him and the team of doctors and the family. Kelly Clarkson should show more of these inspiring stories.
Thank you!
well someone understands the teachings of JC.
I love how your Texan comes out when you’re talking to kids 🥰❤️🇨🇦
Ms. Kelly, Crew, family and Ms. Margo. Yes, one of the best segments on show. Ms. Marlo, yes, we have seen her throughout the years and thank you for putting a celebrity face to extraordinary organization. Doing research and sharing results is incrediable. Integrity and understanding of humanity. I like Ms. Marlo perspective and didnt know the history behind St. Judes.
Ms. Marlo energy is catching.
Christmas is about kids/ family and magic. The lighting of the Rockefeller Christmas tree. Years ago I saw this event on t.v.
St jude doctors and nurses are the best in the world they're hospital are incredibly and amazing, they would help as long as they are needed congrats slater on being cancer free
Thank you!
Free To Be is still one of my all-time favourite movies.
All my kids have seen it.
Danny Thomas, Marlo Thomas and Phil Donahue have such tremendous legacies!!❤
When I was in fourth grade in the seventies, we watched Free To Be… on film using a projector. My teacher would sometimes let us listen to the record in class. It is one of my fondest childhood memories. I still remember the songs to this day.
@@littlejoe9381 Yes! You know exactly what I'm talking about!
The hand puppet babies were a huge hit with my kids!
@@Drnaynay I can tell by your children’s names that it made a huge impression on you. It’s wonderful to be able to share our precious memories with our children and make new ones at the same time. 🙂
@@littlejoe9381 Whoops! I think you misread 😬
I didn't name my kids Danny, Marlo and Phil! I was just saying that all three of them have wonderful legacies.
@@Drnaynay : 😁 sorry
THAT IS MY FRIEND
THAT'S MY BUD
i think so
I THINK THIS IS HIGHLY REALISTIC NOW 😲😲@@TavgamingYT
♥️🙏❤️🩹
Marlo and St. Jude are amazing but what she's done to her face is difficult to look at. It makes me sad to see her this way
It looks like Kelly has lost a lot of weight, she looked more jolly before. I hope shes doing ok.sending love from Albuquerque
She's healthy now. Sounds like someone is jealous.
Sorry to say this but Ms Thomas had one plastic operation to many
What kind of cancer did this child have?
Stage 4 high risk neuroblastoma. St Jude made a breakthrough with combination chemo/immunotherapy to harness the immune system to go after the disease.

I notice Kelly didn't contribute anything!
St. Jude's is AMAZING! I am part of Epsilon Sigma Alpha International and we're VERY compassion about St. Jude Children's Research Hospital! We do sooo much fundraising for it
Danny Thomas..... what a wonderful man! And daughter Marlo.... what a kind & compassionate heart she has! God bless her for continuing to carry the torch for St. Jude Children's Hospital! She's doing such a fine job carrying on her father's legacy at St. Jude!
Danny Thomas came to a Christmas Celebration at U.C. Davis Medical Center in 1986. My daughter was 5 yrs. old at the time, and just had one of her kidneys removed due to a Wilm’s Tumor (Childhood Cancer). I was to shy to greet him at the time, also in shock of my daughter’s diagnosis. I would personally like to THANK the Thomas family for their love, and support to all the families that had to endure their child having cancer!❤
We love St. Jude.❤
Marlo Thomas has been bringing joy to the world for 86 amazing years, as of this broadcast.
Love what Marlo said:. Her Dad ised to say the most important thing is to notice when someone needs something. To notice when someone is sick on the street.
People get so wrapped up in themselves they don't even notice when something isn't right with a loved one who really needs help.
@6:13 10??????
He is 10, he's in my son's class.
