Planning is a way of working our faith. Faith without the works is dead.
Pray less? Baby I can't cosign this. Pray a lot and get to work a lot!! It's both, God gives me strength and intelligence and tools, and praying keeps me humble and focused and grounded

Pray for tools to help be better with finance, eat better, & make better choices. If you have all that when Gods waterfall comes your way you will be ready🙏🏽
Plan for certain things that are realistic, measurable, and achievable. Then you can pray for the strength to stay on your plan. But planning is the key.

My mom has been praying to be able to move out of her Section 8 apartment and has been “confessing” that she’s going to move out “this year.” She’s been saying “this year” for the past 21 years and is still in the same place. She’s done nothing to change her financial situation.

I understand where yall are trying to put people's mind set and yes it's good to have conversations like you did ok. I see how in wanting to teach people to stop spoon-feeding and milk. Tell them bro put in the work God works it in the background.
No you do need to pray to God for all decisions. You still need to work and budget.

Hm, the bible says to pray without ceasing. I love this channel, but i disagree with this episode particularly.
We need to be praying at all times. Praying less is unbiblical.
Anything that we pray for should be done with a sincere heart and should not be done to seek the praise of man. We should actually pray to God more because God is the one that empowers our lives through prayer, if we are not praying, we are depending on our own strength. We must always try the spirits and fact check any statements like this against the word of God.
Did God sometimes use men to perform miracles? Yes, we must be careful to not ascribe the glory of any miracle to a man's faith, God must get the glory in everything. It is only a privilege that God sometimes uses men as vessels to perform miracles.
Philippians 4:6 Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.
1 Thessalonians 5:17 Pray without ceasing.
