How about we just call it great music. I was lucky enough to see Delbert in a couple of small bars. Great performances. You had to be there. A great experience. ☕️☕️🎶🎵🎶
Simply happened to catch him playing one night at the infamous famous Exit/In in Nashville, mid 70s. Delbert claims he taught John Lennon how to play harmonica.
That was great. I have a friend in Las Vegas who is a big Delbert fan. I've known of him for years, but never listened to him. While staying with my friend in 2010 for an antique arms show in town, I accompanied her to a Delbert show on the LV strip. I honestly wasn't expecting much, but went with her doing what friends do. I've seen a LOT of artists perform over the years, and I have to say he and the band simply killed it. They were so tight and having so much fun playing together, it was right up there with Alabama and Poco as one of the best shows I'd ever seen. And this is from someone who didn't know a single song going in. 😁
Please do the video for Sending Me Angels by Delbert. Vince Gill is in the video and on the electric guitar is Lee Roy Parnell. You should check him out...he has some awesome songs!
Engelbert Humperdinck 1 September 1854 - 27 September 1921) was a German composer. He is known widely for his opera Hansel and Gretel (1893). Arnold George Dorsey MBE (born 2 May 1936), known professionally as Engelbert Humperdinck, is a British pop singer.
A couple of country songs that have a laugh or two, both by Lyle Lovett, "Cowboy Man" and "She Ain't No Woman, She's My Wife". A good Country Christmas song, "Two Stepping Round The Christmas Tree" by Suzy Boggus.
Hey guys, I absolutely love what y'all are doing. It's great to see young people discovering what we old folks have been enjoying for years. I just discovered the two of you a few months ago and I've seen a lot of your videos. I'm not sure if you have done Delbert s song blue as blues can get. If not please give it a try. Sending me angles is really great too. Anyways, I love what y'all are doing, keep it up.
What a coincidence! Earlier today I was playing my guitar and decided to run through some of the earliest songs I used to play and one of them was Bruce Channel's "Hey Baby", a great catchy tune from the very early sixties. And Bruce was backed up by Delbert McClinton on harmonica in the song! You might enjoy reacting to "Hey Baby", here's a live video of them doing the song together in 2003: ruclips.net/video/srNqe243y74/видео.htmlsi=HJFFyjPU4KT3Byrq
How about Kristy Marlana Wallace, known as Poison Ivy of the Cramps. She is one of the greatest guitar player ever. Some of their best were "Wrong way ticket" and "Route 66". Psychobilly is a fantastic gene of Rock.
While Delbert is difficult to pin down to a particular genre, his music is more R and B that Country. It does as elements to Country and Blues and Rock as well. But his music is more R&B than anything else.
I like it! For some reason, his voice at times and the beat, reminded me of a Joe Bonamassa song. Check out Joe doing “Riding With The Kings - From Live At The Greek”. Cool video and performance! 😉😊
Looks like you guys have slowed down on your reactions, or else I'm not getting them.Do you all still do movie reactions? It looks like twins was the last one three weeks ago.

Delbert is a great songwriter. I like "Too Much Stuff" with John Prine and Lyle Lovett. A little boogie woogie number. ☮💚🎶
The kind of music you hear in a sure enough Texas honky tonk.
Delbert is the man👍
A couple of country songs that have a laugh or two, both by Lyle Lovett, "Cowboy Man" and "She Ain't No Woman, She's My Wife".

'Delbert's more blues than country if you ask me.
