Damn guys those giant bricks are so cheap. Small regular size bricks here in the USA S.Carolina are 1.09 each. Our wood is cheaper here, but not by a lot, and our bricks are more expensive here. I think the brick beds are really a good idea. And you're right about the rotting. You have a bunch of brush and trees and bushes on that step down behind you, Maybe you could cut those bushes and small trees behind you in the video and use it to fill in the bottom of the bed to help take up the space. Love your channel. Watching your dogs run around like two maniacs is so fun as you're working your assessment off. They love you 2 I can tell. The babies are so cute!
I think some others in Portugal plant in the autumn and harvest in the summer check out some of the other utubers but I think this years weather has had an affect with carrots they need quite deep sandy beds no stones or so I’ve read
Garlic info: Hot weather above 91°F will end bulb growth and hasten maturation or drying down. Therefore, it is important to get plenty of good rapid growth in before the plant dies back. You guys are gonna have to find heat tolerant, garlic, and you'll have much better luck.
Lack of moisture can cause carrots with stunted growth especially when young. Too much water can cause carrots to crack. But I think your carrots, you just need to water them more, and you'll have longer carrots.
STRING LINES AND A SQUARE MAKES PERFECT.
Dogs running in circles is priceless 😂

Use the fish water to irrigate with. I saw a show where that was done.
The potatoes are best placed directly on the ground and the onion must be cleaned and only 2 cm of the tail should be left.

Pickle onions all around!
You need to store the potatoes in a dark place or they will turn green and sprout
So u dry the veg in racks, then what, you keep and eat or use foe seeding?
The potatoes we'll use some as seed potatoes, the onions and garlic we'll get new varieties as we're not happy with the quality of them.
