I am so fortunate to have an American Shorthair. One had walked up to me and started purring and rubbing itself on me and me and my fiance had took it in. I thought that I wasn't a cat person until now.
I have a 9 year old female American shorthair, and she is the love of my life, the reason i live. If I hadn't got her when I did, I would be probably gone by now, she helped me trough toughest of days, she licked my tears away after my breakup with my ex. I get home everyday after work and I collapse on the floor and hug her and kiss her and talk to her, she is my living angel.. I can't imagine my life without her, without my little furry angel.
