Best episode yet!!! Definitely something I can stand behind and believe in. Better regulations for horse slaughter in the USA.

This was such a great podcast! You're so authentic. Life is ironic, and when the horse kicked you in the balls, he really helped you grow some! Love the podcast! Maybe you can get willam shattner on one?
I've learned so much from you throughout the years.

I remember hearing about the Horse Slaughter Plant in IL I was told there was a option to haul your horse to the that Slaughter Plant, lead the horse up and they would drop your horse right there in front of you. If you can be there for your animals last breath, you don't have the right mentality to own animals...

Avid helmet wearer and I still 100% agree about helmets. I’ve grown up riding and training horses, now breaking colts, if I feel like I need one then I need to go back to more groundwork!

1:34:20 I had to learn my hard lesson too. Was training for a lady and she had an orphan horse too. We training it to ride and it wanted to lean my leg into the fence so I would bend its nose into the fence when it would try and do that. The lady got upset with me cause the horse nose got scratched up a little. I decide I didn’t want to upset her and wouldn’t do that. When we came by the gate the horse slammed my leg into the gate and the screw went into my knee. Once I was done causing I told her that if she wants her horse trained a certain way she could get her fat ass up on her horse and do it herself and have a screw jammed into her own leg. I told her I was done and didn’t need the business of someone that was going to risk my safety. After that I was very honest with people and told them they can watch me for my first training and if they didn’t like it they could find someone else.

The thing with horse slaughter is you have extremely wealthy individuals and celebrities who are campaign contibuters who either themselves or their children are active in the horse industry and are anti slaughter supporters.. These people are big names and unfortunately their money is extremely influential.
