Can you blame him? He wasn't told of the change or even given the chance to change. He was kept out of the loop of the changes. The movie had Drac be the villain only for it uproot that and make Vlad and the man bats into the bad guys instead of Drac realizing he was truly in the wrong.

@shawnwhitter5968 So was Dracula. He couldn't accept the idea of his grandson being more human like, and almost got Dennis killed and traumatized trying to force the fangs out. Some people have pointed out that Dennis getting his fangs at the end of the movie was a slight cop out and that he should of remained human like.

In all the dracula movies I have seen since my childhood no offspring of Vlad Dracula has ever stood up and had the courage to follow his own heart and protect his son in law and grandson before.

I agree mavis was being worst mother in the first sequel she could just let Dennis have his choice not her choice, besides she doing her own way, and Dennis running away because of her parenting.

@@mandalorianhunter1It makes sense character development wise. Dracula still has some trauma from his wife's murder and still hadn't fully accepted humans in his heart. He had to let go of both his lingering bias against humans and had to learn to let his daughter and son in law make their own decisions. Even if they went through with moving to California.

But I digress, the 3rd movie could of been about Drac's father learning the same things Dracula did; that co existence with humans was possible.
