Just fyi, the Volvo VNL 2014 (only available used, though there's a dealer bug that allows you to purchase one new once you have a used one in your fleet) has the same 600 hp / 1200 rpm / 2050 torque engine on a long 6x4 300 gallon chassis, but the wheelbase for it is 247"... given the T680 is 251", i believe this makes it 4" shorter, and should really give the Volvo VNL 2014 the top spot, given the criteria you're using to put together the list. Outside of that, nice video and good list, i definitely prefer the T680 myself too.
I just bought this truck after seeing your comment and seeing it used. After I have enough for a total restore, what are all the modifications I need to buy? If you can help me with this I would really appreciate it as my friends got me to play this game with them and I want to have a good truck aswell. This is my first truck I bought and im hoping its as good as the other new ones my friends have.
@@patriclcool1968 just get the long 6x4 300 gal chassis, 600hp engine (cummins or volvo), i prefer 18 speed transmission with retarder but you can go with whatever there, you can also go 730 or 780 for cabin - i don't think either option affects anything so whatever look you like best. Everything else is purely cosmetic.
Looks like the 3 criteria used for comparisons were torque, wheelbase, and fuel capacity (given usage of the biggest engines and on long 6x4 chassis). Both trucks have 2050 torque engines (600hp/1200rpm) and 300 gallon tanks, but the differentiator looks to be wheelbase - the 579 being 254" and the T680 being 251"... with that wheelbase being 3" shorter, it gives the T680 an ever so slightly tighter turning radius (and slightly higher spot on the list given the criteria the video creator is using for comparisons).
