In this tutorial, we'll explore one of the basic features of Cinema 4D that will help you when modeling or exporting your model for After Effects: Subdivide. We'll go over how Trapcode Form and Plexus render points and how subdividing your polygons can give you more control when working.

I knew all this from before, and i'm a 3ds max user - but i still enjoyed the video!
Thanks! :)
You 3DS Max users know everything about modeling :P Thanks for the support!
Good work around VinhSon!
Thank you, hope you found it useful!
Hi Vinh, thanks for this very helpful tutorial!
I only have one problem when I want to anime my OBJ with plexus.
The next frame represents a non subdivided OBJ. If I set the sequence OBJ on "Loop" or "Ping Pong", this problem appears all the two frames...
Could you help me ?
Maybe you said something about it in the video but I don't understand english very well.
Thank you in advance for your help an thank you again for all your tutorials!
I can't increase the segment on my object and i dont know why, may you help me with this please?
唐嘉朗 You can't simply up the segment count unless it's a parametric object. Did you convert your object to a polygon and try to subdivide like the video?
hello! I have a question.
I try obj filel in after effects to get, but unfortunately it does not work. can you please tell me what it could be?

I actually hide my dock and maximize the AE window when I record tutorials. Check out the Mac App: Moom, I use it to quickly maximize stuff :)
