I am editing and existing newsletter that a past colleague created, to make a new one. The formatting of the text doesn't change the way that I instruct it to, I do the changes I want but then, for example, the size of the text and the line spacing doesn't turn out rigt, some text is gray etc. Its driving me crazy. do you know what's wrong?
Hi Nathalie, That is a bit odd. I can't say I've encountered that before. Is it made using the classic builder? I know there are some global settings in the classic builder, maybe they're interfering?
Useful Thanks! I guess Mailchimp updated their UI because the menu system looked different and a couple of the menus were missing content such as the newsletter small URL which I just couldn't find anyplace in their UI any longer. But I did get the normal newsletter setup completed thanks to you and the reset I've got down. Appreciate the time you spent on this.
I better review this I think. It's crazy how often these platforms update things, I could almost run a solo channel just recreating the videos I've already done every year haha. Thanks for letting me know, I'm going to check it out.
Hi Anina, thank you for the kind words! I do have a video planned for setting up an Autoresponder series in mailchimp that could be helpful. But you should be able to find those options under automations
I'm not sure what you mean, sorry. DO you mean to remove the forms themselves? It would depend on how they're setup. If it's with a plugin, you can just turn them off individually or deactivate the plugin - otherwise, if it's simply HTML code added in, you may need to go through and delete those areas individually. I hope that is helpful to a degree.
@@sujanneupane7651 Oh the MailChimp logo - you need a paid MailChimp account - or you could try using a plugin with the MailChimp API to see if it bypasses that part.
When you set up an email campaign, one or two screens in you'll see an area with recipients - there you can 'edit recipients' and pick your whole email list. If you have multiple lists/audiences - you may want to consider combining them and segmenting instead. Here's how you can combined audiences: mailchimp.com/help/use-combine-audiences-tool/

Hi, Thanks for the informative video. I have a question, I am using The Voux theme which has a pop up "Sign up to our newsletter" This is the main method that emails are captured on my website. How do I link this pop up to Mail chimp or do I have to disable it and use a Mail chimp form?
Cool! Ive never used the Voux theme, is there a settings panel in the dashboard where you can log into mailchimp or add an API keyi? It may also be in the mail popup area itself. I woild link it up that way if possible.
Definitely useful - I hadn't investigated beyond basic with the free version and it has been frustrating. I've created a newsletter in Powerpoint and am trying to find out what format it must be to put into Mailchimp and be just as it is in Powerpoint. Direct questions to Google do not get simple answers for old ladies
If you have a Wordpress account that you are publishing articles to, how would you recommend easily turning these daily posts into a weekly newsletter? Thank you!
Hi Jonny, if you have ther RSS feed address, you can add it to an RSS Campaign, which sends automatically. I have a video on it here: ruclips.net/video/IkKPFKnQbdg/видео.html Although they changed the location for it: 1. When you log in go to 4th icon on the left to 'Automations'. Then top right to 'Create' then choose 'Classic Automations' Then Choose 'Share Blog Updates'
Great video, this was so helpful. Is there a way to copy over one email campaign to use for another? This way we can keep the links and everything we had in the previous campaign and just make a few changes for the next outreach.
@@LovableSole I have looked and tested (using the newer editor). If you create an email message, then click on the Tempaltes area on the left bar, click the heart to save a template. I was then able to start a campaign with a different audience (same account) and go totemplates and 'saved' and it was all there - I imported it as a 'clean' template. I hope that helps! ...Maybe another video idea too:)
I signed up for a MailChimp account and before I even logged in I got an email from them saying my account was disabled for misuse... The account was less than two minutes old and I hadn't yet logged in.
I'm starting my own web development business and I'm wondering if I can add this on programmatically into the html of my website? I can build my own email newsletter system but want to save time.
That sounds cool, unfortunately I have no idea how possible it is as I'm more of a WordPress end user who does very HTML and basic CSS along with tool and plugins. I imagine there could be a way with more indepth understanding or PHP or something
Great videos .
Love you brother.

Can you go more in-depth on how to do newsletters? specially putting videos in or gifs. Thanks!

Unfortunately you would need to recreate as you can Convert from PowerPoint. Or add the PowerPoint as an attachment somehow?
