- So it happened, the TD6 has gone. Whether it's to pastures new or to be broken for spares, who knows. It has been a good old chugger boom. #rangerover #rangeroverl322 #rangerovertd6 #td6 #l322

V8 bens garage event !!
Good old TD6 shame to see her go she did you well pal!
Omg end of an era for the td6 but hey u still have the tdv8 looking forward to future post 👍
Yes it was a sad day, but as you say, still got the TDV8.
Another TD6 bites the dust. I hope the new owner can sort it. 👍
Always a sad day when you get rid of a member of the family but you've done the sensible thing - there is no telling how much time and money you could have spent sorting out all the issues only for something else to go bang! Always good when a sale goes smoothly - that's worth a couple of hundred quid at least for not getting messed around. Now you can enjoy the TDV8 and have extra bunce to keep her going lol
I really enjoyed your vids mate, having only just became an owner of a rr sport 2.7. Anyway thanks and looking foreword to your future posts. Take care Mate. 👍
Another great video mate sad to see it go. Keep up the great work 👍
Hi Ben! Lovely channel you have! I’m 23 and from Belgium and I’m looking for my first car. Have always wrenched a bit on my oldtimers at home since I was 16. I’m looking for my first rangie now! Would you recommend the older TD6 or would you spend a bit more on the 3.6 TDV8? Cheers man! Keep at it :)
The older TD6 is fairly basic, but suffer with gearbox issues. And once you have driven a TDV8 over the TD6, the extra power of the TDV8 might make your decision for you. Both are good cars, if you can find a nice well looked after example.
@@Bensgarage thanks a lot Ben :)
@@manuelleclerc5601 No problem 👍
Was the bit towing the flail mower a highlight or a low light?
Not sure, in the video it was still working, but that didn't last. Just a reminder of all the work the TD6 did, I suppose.
I would of rather spent money on the td6 then the v8 much easier to repair and much cheaper I’d never sell my td6 no matter what it needs 👍
Ours was just too much, it was past it's best shall we say.
