Omg yay FINALLY an Otomi video (I’m Otomi)😊🪶🙌 we love to see it!!
TYSM for posting this. Have you heard the theories some Mexican anthropologists have regarding Otomi being the original tribe of other tribes in Mexico & USA?
Fyi: The moon is pronounced ZEE-nuh-nuh
so basically we call her a diminutive of mom (mommy) and the sun pronunciation was ok 👍 but is pronounced more like ZEE-dah-dah well at least in the Hnahnu version…
Random: Idk why but I just noticed your pronounciation of Native words are very Aztec-y 😅 which is funny cause I had never noticed that before until this video (& I’m certified marathoner of your vids) but anyways! Overall this video was *chef’s kiss*

Thank you so much for your thoughtful comments and for the Otomi lesson. I always love the comments section because even though I'm the "imparter of knowledge" with people even calling me "professor," I more than welcome the opportunity to learn from my listeners and viewers. Thanks again. :-)

-tzin being added to the end of a name in Nahuatl is an honorific which should give us a hint to how the Mexica regarded this group of people.
