Thanks for the kind words Rahdo! Happy you've enjoyed your time (And I think your multiplayer experience will be great. For me it's the most fun way to play!)
Great play-thru and final thoughts Richard! I recently received my copy of Star of Akarios and while I was excited to play before I am even more excited to play now! Keep up the amazing work! Love your channel!!
What an enthousiasm 🙂 I was wondering what you would feel about this one... It got me hooked too. One of the best games I ever played. I liked it solo but multiplayer was even more fun . I' m curious if you will be able to put it aside after a couple of plays and move to the next boardgame.
well it's my job :) but we'll see how jen responds to it. i'm sure she'll love the gameplay as much as me, but i suspect she'll be less engaged by the subject matter. she's much more drawn to fantasy heroics than military daring do...
Looks cool and interesting. But the sheer amount of game content means that it would be extremely difficult for me to find someone local who is interested in playing it with me, which means that I wouldn't get my money's worth out of it. Maybe if my local game store opened up their tables for in-person gaming again, then it might be possible. But alas, they still keep their tables completely covered with product at all times (except for Friday Night Magic).
Thank you thank you thank you!! I was considering this... but I absolutely hate Gloomhaven, it's a horrible Eurotrash game disguised as Amerifuntime. This saves me so much money. Many thanks! :)

KS backer here - thank you for delivering such a great game! Great run through, Rahdo!

To hammer the point more, I hope we get a dozen games that use GH card mechanics but don't take literal years to play through.
It's a bit underdeveloped and with balance and other issues but having an absolute blast anyway.

Interesting, one site is saying this is a total flop but every one else seems to like it.
i'm not sure why that one site thinks that, but i was super impressed by it! :)
