KTC also has Pickens at the 6/7 turn. Brooks is actually at the same place too, so getting him in the 5th is easier on KTC. I didn’t include stroud at the beginning because he isn’t a target for me at his top-5 ADP.
I got Brooks at 8.01 in a 12 team startup. Rookies can fall or be reached for all over the place. I've seen a lot of them go multiple rounds earlier/later than they should.
@TheGameOverture Brooks at 8.1 is good value. I have been playing dynasty for a long time so I kind of know how drafting rookies can go but Brooks really is not an elite prospect coming off an injury who will almost certainly start the season on the pup list and even once he plays probably won't be a work horse this year or in a role that equates to much fantasy value. As a dynasty asset, this next year has at least 6 or 7 backs that are better prospects than Brooks so Brooks any earlier than the late 7th or 8th really is being drafted close to his ceiling that we haven't seen yet. He's a rebuild asset and drafting a team to start in a rebuild is not a good strategy unless you like giving away your money! I like your value here at 8.1

In my mocks most times i go for lamb in my first but now im getting more into it and im considering burrow now. Only worries are the injuries he had. Im afraid that this could cost me all my nerfs if this goes on his whole carrier. What do think about it? Also in the 2nd round what do you think about herbert if he falls? And if not murray, then lawrence, then daniels?
I’m not terribly worried about Burrow’s injuries, so I’d still be ok with him. If you wanted, you might be able to trade up to 1.05ish and get Lamar. You can probably do like 1.07 + 9.07 or something and do that. In the second, I love Kyler if he’s there. And then yes, Lawrence then Daniels. I’ve been pretty out on Herbert all off-season, I’m just not in love with the situation and the direction that team is heading in. He’s a fantastic talent, but I think he’s in for a rough year.

I'm in my first startup SF drafting in August, I have the 1.05 I've done a ton of mocks and feel like going RB first like Bijan or Breece then Gibbs or JT on the way back really gives me a leg up. I end up with QBs like Trevor and Goff. Looks like at weekly averages last year, other than Josh allen a lot of QBs average around 20-18 ppg in a 4 pts per passing TD league. What are your thoughts gaining leverage going Stud RB or maybe even Stud WR early at 1.05?
I can’t imagine going RB at 1.05, that’s just wild to me so I’m not about that. I’m not against Jefferson there, but 1.05 gets you Lamar most likely and I find it hard to believe you get Lawrence at 2.07 then?

I have Jefferson in the same tier as Lamb, Chase, and Amon-Ra, and that also could add in Puka and MHJ by the end of the year, so I don’t see a huge difference between JJ and the others. As for Lamar, he did have those two rough seasons where he missed a handful of games, but he’s an elite QB when he’s on the field. In 2021, he was the QB7 on a points per game basis and the QB6 in points per game in 2022. Pair that with his three other top-10 finishes in 2019, 2020, and 2023, two of which where top-4, he’s an elite QB that I want and not try to predict injuries.

My team is Murray, Love, G Wilson, Olave, Pittman, McBride, Higgins, JSN. Rbs are my weak spot. Got connor, Benson, Miller, Lloyd. On the bench I got Bryce Young, Penix, bunch of young wrs. Love the way it turned out.

Both Nico and Diggs are free agents after this season. So it’s possible (although probably unlikely) that they let both walk and sign Higgins.
