hi i have rotg01 pro and i tried to build diy fpv monitor but my rotg doesn't work when i power it with battery, but when i plug it to my phone it work. do you have any solution or should i toss the uvc driver like you did? i use 2s battery with step down 5v to power the rotg.
I also face Same problem. So i used micro usb port instead of power terminal. You should also use micro usb port with 5v dc. You're 5v voltage regulator is ok for this purpose
I have all the components but can't figure out how to add battery ..now I know I have to increase its depth size👍

How did you solve the black screen problem?
Usb still not work, but av output still works on every rotg black screen problem device. i used av output and connect to the analog car monitor
