Thanks for the interesting and informative videos. There is an idea to make a pimak from a square aluminum pipe. The plug and clamp with an air channel can be cast from a mixture of silicone sealant and starch, in a plaster mold.

Intonation can be helped with a small wedge behind the cord/foam. Doug Tipple, maker of some great PVC flutes, came up with the idea, I think.

The Styrofoam doesn't make sense..you can't blow on that Styrofoam it won't stay in place.
