Ryan Huneycutt yes, you could have sleep apnea. When we wake up, the first thing we need to do is pee, you don’t wake up to pee. What is waking you up? For me it is sleep apnea.
I was watching tik tok the night before bedtime and there was this vid that said if you wake up like at 2-3 am someone’s staring at you and that same night I woke up at 2:37 and got scared

For all the people who wake up to pee, even though they're not drinking water near bedtime... One hint: Something I've noticed is that eating a lot near bedtime, like a big pasta meal, seems to retain water during the digestive process (not just in the stomach). And it's then released later to the bladder, while you're sleeping! So it might be helpful to avoid water AND food before bed...

Two books on sleep say normal sleep pattern is sleep 3 to 5 hours, awake 1 to 3 hours, sleep 3 to 5 hours. Books: "I Sleep Twice Each Night" & "The Industrial Sleep Complex". My advice is to turn off your TV, phone, computer, and get to bed early. Do small tasks like read your mail, in your wakeful period.
I usually sleep well between the time I go to bed (9-10) & 3am & It's reassuring to know that that's the most important phase of sleep. Unfortunately, I'm generally wide awake from 3:30am on. I deal with that by listening to guided meditations. They are a positive & relaxing way of dealing with my inability to stay asleep. I used to sleep better when I ate late & drank beer. That lifestyle was killing me, so I had to stop it. It's emotional & psychological issues that keep me awake now, & I'm busy working on that. Being healthy is a lot of work!
This really helped. I wake up usually between 4 am to 4:30 am. This helped me understand why. I lost my father a few months ago and I dont want to except it. This video really helped me.
I have difficulty falling asleep. I read in bed till my eyes start to droop, turning off the lights only around 12:45 or so. It’s been very frustrating to find myself awake at 4 am, and not being able to fall back to sleep after that. I lost my children 3 yrs ago and even though I thought I am coping well, I guess my body tells me that I am not doing so, the grief and depression not allowing me to sleep. Thank you for this video, for making me aware of what could be the cause of my nightly waking.
I can sleep 6hour straight without waking up and if feels really good. It doesn't matter if i wake up 3 4 or 5am. 6 straight hour of sleep gives me a perfect mood for the day.
Moon Luna true, but I’m on the grind from 10:30am-10pm Tuesday-Thursday. Friday/Saturday until 11pm. Sunday’s 11:30am-10pm. Monday’s I’m off. Have to drink at least 8 cups of water. Kitchen sous chef is rough on a busy day without 💧
Very cool video. I wake up at 4am every morning. I went into preterm labor last year. When i heard the explanation in this video I cried a bit. It makes sense. Rhank u for this. I haven made an appointment with a counselor for 11/10. Maybe telling my story will help.
One thing that you didn’t touch on at all is females that have had children tend to have bladders that wake them up at least once a night. But I’m a 3-5 am waker upper. It actually really awesome because I’ve used this to learn how to lucid dream. It’s becoming a hobby of mine that I embark on amazing adventures nearly every night. Lucid dreaming tends to occur at the very end of your sleep cycle and the wake back to bed method is by far the best way to experience them. Some people set an alarm...I use my bladder, lol!

Every person and situation is different. This advice is sound overall but keep everything in perspective. Fasting benefits almost everyone and detoxing our major organs has many great benefits. Also, never underestimate deep breathing and staying active. Physical and mental health are closely tied together. Do not underestimate the simple basic things that are ancient wisdom. ✌💓
I NEED to look up what early means. I never thought of it till now but it could also mean early when the problem or situation presents. So many wait to come before the Lord at the last minute when they have done all they know to fix the problem instead of going to Him first thing. What do u think.

Early to bed and early to rise is a best policy to remain healthy wealthy and Prosperous and also spiritually energized and feelings of God's presence and Graced.
A last resort is to get up when you wake up for a couple of days. Use the time. You will either be tired enough to start sleeping through, or you will at least fall asleep earlier. Accept that you are waking for a reason, either the reasons given here, or if not, maybe that's just when you get a surge of energy-so use it! You may find spiritual contemplations easier, or finally have time to exercise.
All of us are learning through videos like yours. We can challenge our doctors for sure. After losing my only pet dog of 13 incredible years where both of us practiced a 6th sense to co exist, it is almost impossible to get to sleep or stay asleep. I got accustomed to hug my dog every night going to sleep. We slept together "like a couple" every night and all I did with my dog was to make her happy and vise versa. She wagged her tail when I opened my eyes. I knew she was special but I think all pet animals are. To me, sleep will be possible again when a dog sleeps next to me and a cat in my knee bend purring. Waking up between 1 - 3 am? You may suffer from sleep apnea: you wake up because of lack of oxygen. You can wake up at any time because of sleep apnea and there can be a pattern or not. Sleep apnea can cause tiredness and headaches, irritability and other physical and mental health symptoms, even depression and heart problems, caused by chronic disturbed of sleep, whether you wake up during the night or not.
Sleep apnea is due where your body doesn't go into deep Rems due to over stimulated mind along with lack of oxygen. Even though you know you slept you didn't go I to full cycles of sleep. And it will lead to tiredness and other health issues.
I have no problem going to sleep. The problem is staying asleep through the night. I wake up throughout the night. When I do, I have trouble going back to sleep. Sometimes I fall asleep with the & tv on when I wake up. Most nights I'll wait till 5 - 6am, turn everything off & try to get at least 30 minutes to 1 hour of sleep. Then get up to shower & ready for work.
Gracie Mata don't leave t.v. on , that is bad to try to sleep with that garbage being broadcast.relax, try to think peaceful thoughts, push away from thinking about money, job, stressful stuff....
My sleep cycle is normally from nine at night until five in the morning. Waking at three a.m. is not so unusual for me, since six hours of sleep makes it hard to return to that state. When relaxation techniques fail, I rely on imagination, or "daydreaming". And if none of that works, I just get up, to enjoy the peace and quiet with a cup of hot tea. Being retired just means that I can always take a nap anytime during the day. Haha.
Go to bed anywhere from 11 pm to 1 am. For a long time I was waking up between 3 am and 5 am. Started taking 6 mg. of Melatonin at the time I retire. Now sleeping much later in morning. If I wake up during the night, falling back to sleep is much easier. All natural.
I took that crap one time and will never take it again! My brain went on a horrifying nightmare "acid trip" kind of journey. Never used acid, or any hard drugs, but going based on stories of others, my experience was what they call "a bad trip". My brain definitely did not like extra melatonin!
Lloyd, supposedly melatonin, is part of the chemical soup that naturally exists in our brains. How they create it in a pill form is something I have wondered. Is it a synthetic version of natural melatonin? Some people are prescribed melatonin to up the existing supply of an individual brain. Melatonin is what supposedly helps us to sleep when things are in balance.Humans fill there bodies with all sorts of toxic pollutants which clearly wreck the nature of their brains and throw it's chemistry all askew. You can buy melatonin in your local "drugstore", like Walgreens, rite aid, CVS, etc.. I tried melatonin one time, just one tiny tablet, and my brain hated it! I went on what I would compare to, stories of bad acid/hard drug trips. I had a night of horrifying dreamscape images. I have a very sensitive brain and it does not like to be messed with, so I will never take melatonin ever again. Just this past weekend I attended a nephew's youth football game, my Mother was in attendance, she came separately with her man friend, and he said she was sleeping in the car. Apparently my Mother has not been able to get good sleep lately, so she has been taking melatonin. It seems it put her in a deep sleep which she struggled to awaken from. She is in her early 80's, so I am going to be checking with her, to see how she is handling her situation. Everybody responds differently to substances like melatonin, and it may work well for some and useless and perhaps even dangerous, to others.
@@davem5308 Supposidely? Lol yes melatonin is part of what makes you sleepy. This is a fact. Most people shouldn't need melatonine supplements. It's akin to taking testosterone or estrogen when you don't have an endocrine problem. So bo it's not for everyone and no it's not really a sleep aid, but if you should ve one of those people who melontonine levels are incorrect do to reason unrelated to habits. It can help. You should eliminate other possibilities first. Like irregular sleeping schedules. When and what you eat. Etcetera. Before you conclude you have a melotonine imbalance that requires supplements.
I guess I'm screwed because I am a genuine Night Owl. I am more awake, energetic and function better in the middle of the Night. I am nowhere near feeling like I want to go to bed at 9 or 10pm and if I had a choice between getting up between 5-7am, and already being awake at that time, I would rather already be awake. My Mother was the same way.....everyone else in our Family was/is Diurnal.
Great information! I've never heard about organ functions while sleeping or waking up at 3 am, etc. I was a night owl like my Mom and siblings until 2018, when I started waking up between 3 and 5 am. Occasionally at 2 am. I did too much laying in bed waiting for sleep when I was a night owl so I get up and meditate. 62 now, I have survived 4 primary cancers in the last almost 20 years (January) with the latest cancer being this year. All 4 cancers were in the early stages, 1 or 2. Still blows my mind I'm still alive! I'm going to download this video. Thanks! ❣️✌️🥀
I wake up alot of times at night. Mostly between 3 and 4. I was on prescription pain killers for several years. I ve stopped taking them in the last year, and since then i dont sleep through the night sometimes waking several times, leaving me tired and fatigue the next day. This Chinese sleep clock sounds very interesting im going to more research on it. It makes sense to me. The way the organs work at specific times and how the way you eat or deal with life can interrupt theese times. Thanks for the video.
I go to bed around 11pm, fall asleep around 1am, and wake up at 6am. I stay awake 30minutes to one hour, and wake up again at 9am. The whole day I am tired, but when I go to bed, I’m wide awake.
If your schedule is the late shift it doesn’t matter what time of day it is. Your body will regulate as long as you shade the sun as you sleep trough half the morning.
I have a sleep tracking app and I found there's only a few things consistently linked to early morning waking or frequent waking 1) eating anything more than a light snack within 4 or 5 hours before bedtime, 2) when my allergies are acting up or I have a cold, which triggers my sleep apnea, 3) extreme worry about something. Meditating using a RUclips video (I flip my phone over to avoid the light) or reading a book usually helps me go back to sleep.
I go to bed at 11 PM, wake up between 3 and 5, and have coffee, my bible study, and prayers, and work in my garden....old habits are hard to break! For over 30 years now! Lol
Changes depending on emotional health, what you do during the day, whether you have a flu or cold, children wake you up at anytime, to use the toilet, someone making loud noise, worries, nightmares, I could go on and on. And on. Cycles of time are important but it's hard to break habits once you are in that sleep habit. Melatonin can help reset your body clock
I was born at 3:33 A.M. and years on end I would awaken at that time night after night. I would think of something nice, smile then go back to sleep. I would most times think of the story my mom would tell me of the night I was born. It was always a comforting feeling when I aw it was 3:33.
I have had Epilepsy since age 13. I feel my best when drinking lemon water at night and water during the day..Being in different jobs at odd hours, sleep patterns are really crazy at times. I suffered the biggest lost in my life in 1995. It took me a long time to recover but I am on a roll now.
The brain loves repeated patterns so you only know it's 3:33 because you look at the clock. The repeated clock watching becomes a habit that the brain recognises because it is very good at keeping internal time. If it's not time to get up don't look at the clock. Turn it so you can't see it and you'll slowly return to not waking due to habit. FYI I'm a psycho and hypnotherapist and have worked with people with severe sleep issues for years...the most common reason why people wake at a certain time is habit caused by looking at the clock as soon as they wake.
Be happy with your Independent Self. Remember that there's no God/Allah; that Christianity and Islam are Jewish off-shoots and that Judaism is based on pure myth borrowed from earlier religious myths in the middle eastern region such as Zorastrianism and others.
The worst thing that happens to me is going to sleep about 11:00 PM, waking up around 12:30, and guessing what time it is, I'm feeling so refreshed and ready to go that I figure around 7:30 then I look at the clock and realize I am in deep trouble!!! won't get back to sleep until close to 7:00 sometimes a little after 6!!
I often wake between 3 & 5 as well. But can be other times too. It’s a bathroom call for me. Most times I can get right back to sleep, but on occasion I am wide awake and stay up. I don’t mind staying up as it becomes my prayer time and starts my day nicely.
I wake up at 21.30 because I have fallen asleep in the kids' bed again and go to my own room. Then I wake up at 24.00 because my husband goes to the bathroom before himself going to sleep. Then I wake up at 2.00, when the first kid comes to my bed, at 3.00 when the second comes, at 5.00 when the first cat comes home and wants to cuddle and finally at 6.00 when the second cat wants breakfast. No science behind this 😉
I wake up every morning at 5 am, never knew why, I thought the Lord wakes me u to talk and commune with me and tell me things I need to do or don't do.
@bryan diaz varela God talks to who he loves and who will listen, he talks to many people, for God so loves the world. Yes I can smell my own farts, how about you?
The louder than your voice 'music/noise', prevents me from listening to your valuable information. I hope you can make a change so I can resume listening. Thank you
I generally stay awake if I wake between 3 am and 5am. I have serious illnesses going on and have not slept properly for at least twenty years. It is due to being an insomniac that I have heart decease heart failure epilepsy and now have developed rheumatoid arthritis and patio arthritis and I also suffer with ptsd from my time as a soldier.
3am is considered by some paranormal researchers to be the ‘Devil’s Hour,” witching hour also works too. This is thought to be an entity mocking the Holy Trinity as many ppl with this problem have also woken up to find just 3 scratches on their body also thought to be for the same reason.
Waking up between 3 and 5 am can also be interpreted as something different...some ppl have a connection with the afterlife or are very in tune with the universe ...during these hours dreams or contact from family or close friends who have passed,,, can connect with you. I can't speak for everyone. Just myself. My whole life has been like this and has happened so many times it is hard to call coincidence. Anyone else???
Same. For me it's around 3:30. Every night we hear a thump on floor like if someone getting out of bed, except no one got out of bed. Sometimes I can hear noises like the sound of markers/crayons being moved around in their plastic container, side door being opened (that' sound scares me the most) ornaments on Xmas tree being fussed with. Other times I sense the presence of someone but no ones there. Other times when I have that feeling, I'll look up and see movement in hallway (I'll just catch part of their body entering bathroom. I've seen orbs too. They were colorful and were floating from room to room... my daughters room had soft glow of light in it (she doesn't use night lights) heard footsteps in her room; it was particularly busy night for visitors. Lastly I woke up feeling presence... I looked up and saw figure dressed in white w arms behind back leaning over my daughter watching her sleep. It was so vivid. I also see visitors early in morning around 7-7:30... always used to be a female in white nightgown who appeared to be cleaning my baby's room. Do you see them during day? I do. I've seen them walking close behind us tagging along on our nightly stroll. I saw my late grandpa standing in my neighbors backyard watching me cut my grass. That was my first true visit.
I know I'm not hallucinating bc both my kids and my dad have felt/seen same visitors. My husband only one who hasn't, he's also only one who doesn't believe in afterlife. Sometimes I don't sleep well bc I keep seeing activity in my hallway that catches my eye/wakes me up.
All living creatures wake several times during a night's rest. It's hard wired into your system to wake up, check your surroundings for safety, and then go back to sleep.
I wake up every night 3am every night, the things u said about that time definitely fit me exactly.. I am struggling with grief as I lost my sister in 2016 and am still struggling with that loss.. this is wild how it fits exactly to my life!
meg and zoes mom Same here. Around 4ish every morning. I lost my mom unexpectedly a couple of years ago. I guess I haven’t done enough healing and grief work.
I wake up at 3am. It started after my car accident. I was hit at night. After that, I wake up most nights at 3am. No bad dreams before waking up. Stay up for half an hour. Then my phone rings. Get back up. Phone call from person that calls from other side of the globe. Six hour time difference.
I had stress waking me up. I used to eat healthy and feel good about it but when I go to the cafeteria there’s hardly anything that is healthy and if there is the quality is not good. It was stress of wanting to get things right and having job-related anxiety, on top of studying. That makes me wake up 2-3 hours before I’m supposed to actually be up. I’m starting to eat less during dinner, drinking more water, and I want to get a date so that my stress levels get lower.
I always have woken up at 3:15am as long as I can remember. I travelled to visit a Yogi in Poona,India and he said it was because I killed my wife, the Princess of Egypt 3450 years ago at 3:15am in a former life. I asked my Rabbi and he said "Just buy a new alarm clock, and forget this Narishkeit."
I am just a night owl. I like working at night. It is most comfortable for me. I like sitting up at night making computer games, writing stories, studying, doing art, and practice and writing music.
HE360 me too. Most of my siblings are the same. For me night is the most peaceful relaxing time. But I’ve never been able to get a night job. I’d probably be more productive in one than I am getting up at the crack of dawn dragging myself into work.
Even though everybody keeps insisting: qi has nothing to do with energy. Yang might. Qi has to do with how well something functions, so it is a quality marker. Something has qi due to its radiant perfection in doing things. So the internal clock has not much to do with qi in this form of explanation. It is based on the western biological model slanted to suit Chinese medicine theory as interpreted based on wrong translation. The Chinese body clock has to do with pressure and speed or slowness of Yang or tenseness of yin, to mentions a few things. I am sorry for the corrections, but It would be best for everyone if you stick to the facts in stead to populism. If you need advice or support for such items I am willing to help you out to be more correct

Addicted! at 74
Waking up between 1 - 3 am? You may suffer from sleep apnea: you wake up because of lack of oxygen. You can wake up at any time because of sleep apnea and there can be a pattern or not. Sleep apnea can cause tiredness and headaches, irritability and other physical and mental health symptoms, even depression and heart problems, caused by chronic disturbed of sleep, whether you wake up during the night or not.
Claptrap Claptrap yes and no; a friend of mine wakes up at 1 am even wearing a cpap machine. he goes to bed at 6 pm though.
Sleep apnea is due where your body doesn't go into deep Rems due to over stimulated mind along with lack of oxygen. Even though you know you slept you didn't go I to full cycles of sleep. And it will lead to tiredness and other health issues.
Claptrap Claptrap
@@davem5308 *sounds like sleep paralysis*
@Lloyd Wilhelm *you can find it at any drug store/grocery store, it's just a simple vitamin*

I usually wake up at 3 am. I am glad there is a reason. I keep my eyes closed and try to calm down.
It indicates that your awake. Your brain and body has recharged, so you may as well get up and get to work

I wake up in the middle of the night at 333 every night never fails over time o started taking advantage of it instead of using it as something wrong
How
The brain loves repeated patterns so you only know it's 3:33 because you look at the clock.

Studying at night, especially the night before the exam is highly stressful. It is called cramming!😬😁
Waking up between 1am to 3am it's means u're jobless cz ur mind has stress always you think how finish onother day
lack of money is always stressful. Just start selling stuff.
Waking up at 4am used to mean my neighbours who used to leave their house for work at 5am used to create such a fuss it created fear for years I now am free and overcame by prayer and God's Word and now I get up and remove my thoughts from their consequences to my lifestyle.....
This is so very true. I suffer from extreme anxiety!!
