I'm cambodian and Happy to see Cambodia is on the korean variety show. However, life in rural area is a little bit difficult but they live in the real nature. Please don't doubt and think negatively about Cambodia either cambodians, we are really friendly and helpful but some people are just so shy. Moreover, life in city like Phnom Penh or in other touristic provinces: Sihanouk Ville , Siem Reap ... is more comfortable and modern. We have everything: cars, big houses, buildings ...etc. just like in other countries. You should visit Cambodia once and visit different places, so u will see more insights of the country and be able to experience a new kind of interesting trip. Remember, this is just a very small part of rural area surrounded by nature, so life is a bit different from city but it can show how cambodian people survive and their natural life.
Seolhyun is quite quirky and shocking for a female idol lol...., she surpassed my expectation. Wasnt expecting she would grab the eel/snake(?) and the frog so casually and jumped into the brown water so happily lol. Definitely (+1) for her :)
As a Cambodian myself, I'm so happy to see KBS film a show with all the celebrities I love there. Even we are a poor country, but we don't poor at heart. I hope they had a great time there.
It was so cute how Seolhyun readily played with the girls as soon as they entered as if she was actually neighbors and usually drops over the house to play together XD
I am not suprised at all to see this since i live in an asian country too so this is like the reality. People who live in the country face this kind of life. The city and country are so different.
Seriously, is this an overseas volunteering exercise by some South Koreans accustomed to too good life at their own country? It's too bad they can't visit the place up north the DMZ.

From watching this show it made me appreciate that just because you don't speak the same language does not separate you from each other. I'm really glad that they chose Cambodia for their episode. It made me learn more about my own culture even though its only the episode. Im sharing this with my other family members. Oh and by the way seolhyun is sooo cute!
I love all the members. They really make it seem like a real family. And to see that there are still so many people living in such hardships and lacks really taught me to be grateful. it's so overwhelming.

I read a lot of comments that criticized Seolhyun from Korean viewers. The beginning was smooth, however, she started to garner hates in later episodes. Since I never watched this show before, I am curious to see why Korean viewers are not so fondly of her in the future episodes. Overall, this was a good watch :)

I hope no one gets overly mad at myungsoo and the woman who scolded Seolhyun. If you watch the other episodes, you can tell how apologetic they were, plus Myungsoo was actually really nice and loving towards Seolhyun, as if she was his actual niece.
Ahhh! So excited for this show to be filmed in Cambodia! There's so much more to discover, so I'm expecting quite a lot in the next few episodes! I love seeing the family's reaction when they experience something new; it's very authentic and real.

one of the reason i dont like idols in variety shows is not because i hate them, but i hate some of their fans who tend to overreact. if u dont like your idols treated like that, then just ask them to remain perform on stage. that suit them better. if you watched all the episodes when they're in cambodia, u'll see the mother character pushed her head too. she's doing great in this show, i like her. they look like real family there.

Anyway, I read articles about how Myungsoo was being rude to Seolhyun when she dropped the egg, and how he should be removed from the show. I was thinking how bad it must be for him to be removed. And honestly, when I saw the preview, I don't know how is that a big deal. I mean yeah he did hit her head but it doesn't looks like he did that on purpose. More like an automatic reaction, which I can understand, because the family is struggling with food. The father even begged for it. For those who said it's just an egg, well try to put yourself in their shoes. Plus, Myungsoo is well known for his cold attitude. In fact, his character in this show is as a troublesome uncle. I'm not saying it's fine to hit someone's head, but it's not a big deal either. Just get over it already. It's okay, they're family anyway. Why so serious? Don't get me wrong, I'm no hater. In fact, I love AOA. I love Seolhyun. And I love Myungsoo for who he is :)

I swear this is like my 4th time watching this series. I got into Korean shows 5 years ago (when I watched it) and eventually got into Kpop and Korean entertainment and then rewatched this multiple of times after I finally know who everyone is. I just find this series so interesting.

i'm cambodian but i ew at the toilet part. guess maybe because i was born in the city. but thanks to them, i know how hard people live in the countryside. this teach me a lot and makes me appreciate everything i have. and i hope other people feels the same.

I am truly liking this show. Great casting too! I never cared for Park Myung Soo until now. I see a different side of him now. He's not just the grumpy, lazy commentator I thought... He's much more caring and dedicated. I wish him and his family well.
I didn't understand why the chief proposed to bathe in the water near the house. Is there a difference with the water where they went fishing? Like MyungSoo said, there was no logic in it. I'm loving this show. I had no idea they lived like that in Cambodia. Very interesting I would like to visit someday. I'm sure the people are immune to the water but others will get sick right away. Good thing they only stay for 5 days.
Even though this was 5 years ago, I’m still happy that they’re giving Cambodia a chance in the spot light. Also Seolhyun is so sweet to everyone. It is funny to see their reaction to Cambodian culture.

If you visit the city and drink mostly coconut like I did, you'll probably be fine.
