    Filmed in January 2022.
Take a peek behind the scenes on how we filmed and recorded "One Day" in a single shot with Ontario-based artist Jaguar Sun. Shot at Goldie's Convenience in Downtown Kitchener, all audio was recorded in real time - coupling this with camera cues, band movements, lighting, and nailing timing for everything in a single take meant lots (lots) of practice.
Here's a breakdown of what you're seeing in this behind the scenes video:
    - Overhead view is filmed on a 360 camera worn by the Camera Operator
    - You're listening to the board mix (ie. what the Recording Engineer hears) as opposed to the final mix, with the Director's cues on top, which all crew listen to in real time
    - We've cut in footage from rehearsals as well - to prepare for a shoot like this, we measured out and recreated the exact dimensions of the venue in our own production staging space to practice all movements and timing
This was filmed on a Sony FS5 on steadicam with a standard cine-rig, including wireless follow focus and monitoring. The Director and First Assistant Camera (1st AC) can see the footage from the camera in real-time in the production booth (hidden in the washroom), allowing the Director to cue the Camera Operator and crew (also keeping an eye on the 360 camera in real time) and the 1st AC to pull focus on subjects as needed.
All musicians along with crew were using wireless in-ear monitors to hear the mix, meaning the only sound in the room was drums. Guitars and keys were direct; both electrics, bass, and acoustic were on wireless transmitters as well. This made for a total of 14 wireless channels in use for this single shoot.
