I just tried the Radspeed (weights forward bias) vs the LTDx normal version. Different than the LS for sure but perhaps a better comparo would have been if I swapped the RADspeed weights. Anyway initially the LTD had better ballspeed, lower spin, but as time went on I found the middle of the face more consistently on the RADspeed. The RADspeed ultimately had better numbers. Something about the LTDx felt off like it felt lighter and I was pulling shots left more. RADspeed feels a touch heavier swingweight wise and had a right bias. Anyway I went home with RADspeed. They had similar results on perfect shots but the RAD was far more controllable for me. Many people are stating the opposite and I'm actually surprised. I like the looks, name, graphics better on the RAD but totally expected the LTDx to win me over.
I was able to pick up a like new Cobra RadSpeed XB driver for dirt cheap shortly after the release of the LTDs. It's definitely a nice upgrade from my cobra F6+, especially the sound.
This is an awesome comparison. I have the speedzone in the matte finish, the shiny was terrible. Cobra have killed it with the infinity face. Love the way it looks
Nice that u mixed up the order of hitting. Would like more past vs present driver comparisons - including say 5, 10 years ago vs present. Wondering for my dad, do the newer drivers help someone with slower swing speed (170 yard carry). He's got a K15 sft soft reg driver. Keep em coming guys!
If I didn't hit my 4-5 year old driver (Epic Flash SZ) so well and consistently, I would be looking to Cobra. I have a friend who works for TruSpec and he said that the Cobra is FAR AND ABOVE the best performer for most golfers in the hitting bay this year(all heads).
From all the video reviews, including yours on the different LTDx drivers, I chose the LTDx LS. It is an incredible driver. So long, even on mishits. I'm extremely pleased with it, especially having not changed my driver for 15 years. There is a massive difference between this driver and my old Nike Sumo that I changed from.
what's your swing speed if I can ask? I'm considering the same club but wondering if my 100/mph swing speed is enough to launch it properly and not have just a flat rocket. I'm wanting more carry not just a flat launching long rolling driver. I love this club but need to make sure I'm making the right choice. Gonna do a fitting anyways.
@@cryptoking8060 In all honesty, I'm not sure what my swing speed is at the moment. I'm going to guess that I'm somewhere between 90 to 100mph. However, I don't find it launches low at all. I have the 9 degree head. I'm also playing the factory HZRDUS factory stiff shaft. I have a feeling that currently I could likely go down a step in flex but I have always played a stiff, so that's what I chose. I'll make it in to the fitters at some point to get it dialed in and take proper stock of my speeds, but I'm still very much enjoying this driver.
@@tylerpalmer8973 appreciate the reply that's encouraging. I've narrowed down driver and shaft combos and cobra has most of my attention. Gonna do a fitting this week and determine which way to go.
@@cryptoking8060 , no problem! I've found it to be very confidence inspiring. Having taken forever to change drivers, it was nice to see the speed and distance off this one compared to the my old one. I'm not super long, but I'm pretty consistent off the tee, and the LTDx LS definitely lets me rip at it with confidence. Hope your fitting goes well! Obviously, not all drivers are suited to all players, and the fitters will get into what you need to be playing!
I game the Speedzone Driver, but I have the weight back, anyway I noticed on the Rad Speed that the front weight was dispersed more along the face, that would give you more forgiveness.
My swing speed is about 100-105. Do I need a swing speed of 112+ to use a LS driver? I have the Cobra King SZ lofted down to 9.5 from 10.5 and the heavy weight forward and I still have too much height.
Cobra makes great Drivers and Fairway woods...I would like to get a Rad Speed to take over for my F 9 Driver and the prices are great for this driver....Thanks for the Review...
Unfortunately the Rad Speed head you highlighted in this video was the XD model which is the draw bias model with a higher MOI. It is not the "Rad Speed" player model which has the movable 12 g weight that can be played forward reducing spin and increasing ball speed off the face. Now this may have been a production error and maybe the head you were hitting in the testing was the Rad Speed but it's questionable. As such the comparison is pretty meaningless unless you verify the Rad Speed and not the RAD XD head was used when comparing to the LTDxLS. Thanks for clarifying.
I can guarantee that we were testing all the low spin models against each other. If there was some b-roll showing XD that would be a production error. Thanks for informing us - Thomas
F9 was so good it really fit my eye but I cracked three of them in a year and cobra was out of heads. They eventually got me into a Speedzone and it was hot garbage.

Thank you for this. I have been looking for a solid comparison since the release of the x ls. You guys are the best
Thanks for watching and the kind words - Thomas

I've been playing a Speedzone since release. I'm tempted to try new drivers just not sure there's a lot to gain.
Thanks for watching. Speedzone is still a great option. - Thomas

Good stuff guys, like your input and the show casing of the three versions of Cobra.
Impressive driving! You'd probably hit any putter 250 middle fairway.
What's your take on feel and sound?

I have the Fly Z+ w a Matrix VLTC st S shaft. Even w the weight set back, I had to set it to 11* to get the rpm’s to 1800-1900

hoping to see new ltdx vs old Ltd in the future

You're definitely hitting up on the ball, that isn't enough speed to put a lot of hight on 9.5.

@@2ndswing Thanks for confirming. Yes all the images for Rad Speed used in the video were the XD.
Any of them good for slow 70-80 mph senior golf swing… what about the m2?
Get a ping
I like the guy just walking in front of the camera totally oblivious.
Why not the F9 Speedback too? I mean. It beat both Speedzone and RAD Speed.
OLD Baltlplyer Here , Gaming F8+ Smoke it ,Low Spin.
Does the LTDxLS sit open to you?
Golf buddy and I cracked 2 Radspeed heads....
I use Cobra clubs including my putter...
Live in Michigan, have family in MN, about to “visit them” just to get fitted by you Thomas lol
Do you guys also do lessons?
The Speedzone looked poor in comparison.....seriously ?
F9 was so good it really fit my eye but I cracked three of them in a year and cobra was out of heads. They eventually got me into a Speedzone and it was hot garbage.
I play the F9 right now. I've cracked one head, really hoping my current one lives on for a while
