The original was my most listened song in 2019. Went through a really depressed stage in my life and that song was the only thing that reminded me to keep pushing and fight for not only myself, but the people around me. Now this song is released and I'm reflecting on myself, being happy where I am in life and looking forward to what my future holds. Thank you Dabin for your beautiful music. And to anyone reading this, I hope you are able to live a long, happy, fulfilling life.

Okay, that added verse is SO beautiful! I always thought Alive was about finally making it out, but it's more like that quote "to feel pain is to be alive" & knowing there are better days coming. This touched my soul ❤️
I absolutely love this song,....
What a journey. The original felt like someone flinging open the door and just running breaking out of their old life. This one feels like that moment when you reach the top of that hill and can't run any more but you made it. The final verse adds so much to the song.
I'm suffering from derealization depersonalization disorder since almost 2 years, and I have to say, your songs and "Alive" particularly are a freaking boost that helps me to break walls and surpass everything. Thank you for everything.
And if someone here is reading this and have the same disorder : be strong, you'll get through this, and after that, you'll be reborn into a better version of yourself, and you'll finally feel Alive.

This was mine and my partners first dance song at our wedding. What most of teh guests didn't know is that my partner tried taking her own life fairly early on in our relationship. She thankfully woke up in a hospital and survived. This song didn't come out at that stage but when it did, it resonated very deeply with us. Its incredibly hard to listen to this song, even now, without tearing up.
