Who else is watching this in 2021? Just me? Okay... I'm a veteran Umineko fan and this video will always be an ancient piece of history. I used to watch crack videos and memes from Umineko from 11 years ago and my 9 year old self really going ham when this came on. It was such a great time.
New PS3 sprites are good but Beato seems to be trying really hard to make an evil face while in the original she seems to be genuinelly enjoying the troll.
@@Rafaelrgm yes! Ryu07 isn't exactly an amazing artist but you can really feel the effort he put into getting the expressions just right, knowing how much it would add to the experience. I wouldn't trade these old school portraits for anything.
@@Vassilinia It would be better to say he is not the best illustrator, his art wouldn't be so memorable if it wasn't good. Even Ciconia, that wasn't drawn by him, kept artstyle as a basis. . . . . . . . . . . . Another big point, and I need to say that this point is 100% personal, to his style, and the format of SN instead of VN in general, is that it doesnt fight for the spotlight with the other elements of the novel.

The only Chiester with a sprite that never appeared was 556. IRL, there are no more than three Chiesters due to their nature, but yes, in EP6 in a certain meta scene there was an entire army of them.
I didn't know if this was good enough to favorite... until the Stakes. If I was drinking milk at that moment, it would have exited my nose, I'll say that much.
