Yeah, it bugs me too. I know what they mean is, "We should be better than this." But we aren't, apparently. Clinton was inaugurated in 1993, 12 years after Reagan was shot. And Bush was having soldiers killing in Iraq, while Clinton was doing it later in Kosovo. And so on. We're a war-like country. But "violence is never the answer"? I appreciate the sentiment, truly. But it only perpetuates the problem. :(

Trump sees a pliable opportunist & is probably funded by Thiel. For me the question is why Thiel continually helped Vance despite his successive failures - why? When I first voted i voted for the Democratic candidate! And he lost. I had asked my mother who i should vote for! And she said ask your dad! I did and he got upset! My dad told me read the newspapers, 1962 , newspapers were delivered to your house😅see the candidates on Tv and vote for whom ever represents who you are!! If you vote for the person I tell you to vote then i vote twice! But he told me to chose wisely and that not to many nations have what we have! I voted and he lost! As a senior in high school i felt embarrassed because of my annoyance! I knew what Democracy was . Civics, Government studies and US History were my favorite classes! He then told me, in four years you will vote again and we shall see! Inside i get upset but i don't even tell my kids who to vote for! I tell them that my father never told me who to vote for either! Most are Republicans, but they are my children! Its their choice! I dont allow any politics in my house and i dont discuss my views on it!
