everytime i die i look at what mistakes lead me dying, then keep tyem in mind the next round. the simple act of telling urself what do next time slowly ingrains itself into a habit.
I do feel like game sense and map knowledge go hand in hand, so the best thing for new players would probably be to just pick your favorite roamer and spend your time on defense just wandering the map and learning how everything connects inside and out. Do T-hunts on one specific map until you learn it that can also help.
Thank you for these skill improvement videos. I just came back to Siege and haven’t played since 2019. I’m getting destroyed in Cop/Bronze 😂 so this helps a lot.
don’t get disheartened the new ranked system means at the start of the season there’s a high chance that those coppers and bronzes are actually a much higher rank since you start from the bottom now
The thing about gamesense is that even if you take long breaks form r6 when you come back that gamesense will still stay with you. This ability will help you get back to your previous skill level MUCH faster than normal, because your gonna be smarter than the average player
Bit of a casual player, but I learned that if I fight against real people, they are good. I can not only learn from my team and my mistakes(positioning, operaters, maps), but because of the review feature, I can see more in depth of how people play especially higher rank players.
I wish there were more content creators doing this type of videos where you actually explain what you are doing while you're playing. It's one of the best ways to learn. Watching good players helps but you often don't hear their reasoning or what their plan is so it's not as helpful as when they explain and think out loud
@piggymaster3209 they may be good but not good enough against a team playing the better ops. Unless you're aim is insane play an op that's actually useful.
9:11 the Ash charge didn't do enough damage. Frost mats have more HP + the damage drop-off because of the explosive radius. Still unlucky ig, it was probably all about a few pixel.
Game sense is one thing but good timing/reactions as well as good reflexes are a whole different ball game. Can you do an educational commentary on that please?
Game sense to me is like you said muscle memory, having a reason for why you're doing something. Even things that are small. Like shooting the jukebox on Clubhouse. A new player will see that and be confused that every defensive round someone shoots the jukebox. Its a small thing, but you wanna be able to hear, its playing music. Simple. Ironic you pinged the window on exhibition. I had a recent game...last sunday, where my team was in a 3 v 1. This person already doomed 1 teammate and moved to that window. Another calls out IQ is on window and 1 health. I said, ok, don't peak her. Both teammates remaining peaks her seconds after each other and dies. Game sense players a roll here. knowing when not to peak someone, esp when its the player who has been running the team's pockets all game.
@@MistahHaskins ...that's part of muscle memory. Adapting is part of having the mental memory of how individual things work and can play and being able to change on the fly bc you KNOW how to approach something. It's all part of the same thing.
Yeah allot of people especially in lower ranks have a huge problem with peeking. Theres been so many times ive been in a 1v1 in Bronze elo and my team just gets on the mic to tell me to swimg the dude. And im like no how about i hold an angle on site and swing him as soon as he starts to defuse? 9/10 times my way wins me the game while their way feels like coin flip odds at best.
The main element that got me out of gold and being noob is controlling the important parts of the map in defense near the bomb and the art of droning and seeing where my teammates are and push from another direction using ur util like flash etc nomad / grim and guessing where the enemies are at from ur teammates positioning and fights
The card analogy was great. You gotta know all the cards you have and all the cards the enemy may play. R6 is all about using everything you have to your advantage. Sound, past experiences/strats, gadgets, reinforcement, breaking up the map to make it easier for you.
Im not him obviously but i smoke main on xbox i feel like smoke is good for entry denial, scaring off shields and bomb planters and even finishing/getting kills. But friend u can ignore what i say idc.
Just has the most embarrassing 1v1 loss on overtime(even with the plant) and got invited to a party twice soooo here i am now sitting at copper 1 trying to learn this fuckin game💀
lesion im diamond but i cant make a good play could that be beacuse i cant hear well i mean my ps4 is making too much fan noise is that the reason why k cant plau too well
bro how am i supposed to know when to peak where to go when to move when should i prefire where the opponent is at like i dont understand how im supposed to understand all of it at once
It’s so weird I’ve played the game for a few years and I know the maps but like I’m bad at using it to my advantage all I have is gun skill it’s like I’m capped
I’m still struggling with recoil control on console most gunfights I’m ok but 30+ meters I’m a potato and still can’t control guns like the c8 or smg11
How do i know when to play on and off site, i feel as if im a fragger in my emerald lobbies but i see myself being off site too much and my team dies and i have to clutch up, what should i do?
My game sense is actually really good, I just can’t aim to save my life figuratively and literally, I’ll read people like a book and still get clapped😂😂😂 I have the gunskill of a gold but the game sense of a diamond, which means I’m stuck in high plat/low emerald💀
I need to put more hours into the game to learn all maps and angles, siege is such a different game compared to halo, cod or any shooter where you do good if you know how to aim
The thing about gamesense and positioning is that the more angles you’re aware you can get shot from the more you overthink i, and then becomes a self fulfilling prophecy of being caught rotating to somewhere safer and can really fuck guy over from getting more kills in siege
at first maybe, over time you begin to understand common angles and as matches progress get an actual read on your opponents to the point where you can deduce which angles they are more likely to hold or to find an actual kill shot on. It becomes a kind of high speed gamble on certain maps where you can't realistically cover every angle (consulate, border, some parts of villa for example). And this mostly applies to defenders since attackers have the luxury of drones to eliminate a lot of angles or even whole sections of the map.
I had already been playing the game I was familiar with the maps but I started watching braction and reaper_EN and they taught me about how to think about maps

i used the t hunts a while ago and it helps a lot because the terrorist ls will be playing in normal positions and help you learn where to look
@@iiReivaxterrorists do not play in normal positions tf you talking about

Literally same this guy has helped me a lot even though I’m still really bad 😂
I’m silver witch is still a pretty low rank lol
don’t get disheartened the new ranked system means at the start of the season there’s a high chance that those coppers and bronzes are actually a much higher rank since you start from the bottom now
Im I’m the same situation haven’t played since 2020, I’m still doing solid in gold on pc.
Bro. I’m in the same situation. Haven’t played since 2019 and I cant get passed bronze 4
I love elephants
fuck elephants
You love dicks bro
I like turtles
I like clouds
I think he might like elephants
Lesion with another banger 🎉🎉
Nah 💀💀💀

Overall this is true but all the little peaks and minor things you will forget

yow this is motivating me, keep up on doing this kind of thing man
I recommend a video where u play some other random ops like goyo or tachanka to show every op is decent
No matter what anyone says tachanka can not be good 😂
@@bfcjacob7005 any op can be good if you know how to play them

Wish I wouldn't have stopped playing back in 2018, but had life come at my pretty hard.
On the grind to get back to where I was when I left.
5:51 bro said nothing😂

Having good ads look settings. I put mine on 100 with a 32 rectile sens.

Game sense isn't exactly muscle memory because every round can play out differently but its more about when to do things

2:30 literally perfect timing for what u said lmao
I laughed to hard when bandit got smoked 😂😂
The biggest improvement I have made as a total noob on R6 is learning sound cues.
The main element that got me out of gold and being noob is controlling the important parts of the map in defense near the bomb and the art of droning and seeing where my teammates are and push from another direction using ur util like flash etc nomad / grim and guessing where the enemies are at from ur teammates positioning and fights
when your having one of those bad days where your aim is ass, watch an athieno video and youll be back to diamond 1
The card analogy was great. You gotta know all the cards you have and all the cards the enemy may play. R6 is all about using everything you have to your advantage. Sound, past experiences/strats, gadgets, reinforcement, breaking up the map to make it easier for you.
when i use sound and kill people through walls they just message me while theyre mad and say "sound hog"
a way i improved gamesense and general gameplay was by watching high level r6 then comparing it to my game and trying to fix the flaws in my skills
glad this ain't an april fools joke :D
@9:10 thats why i have the points scored on the right so it shows what you destroy it would have told you if you destroyed them
dbl frost mats and a thornberry the overkill is real !
I was shit on console, the more I watched pros the more It just clicked
Yoo Athieno if i play smoke how do i do that and is playing smoke worth it?

Best card game for your anology would be Yu-gi-oh 😂
Lesion lectures
Sound cues is my main problem, I hear things but I don’t think they’re near me so I don’t know how close they are so I end up dying
the card thing was pretty obviously chess but with less time
I think my problem is overthinking cause erverytime i play brainafk , i overperforme
i’ve been playing since shadow legacy and still dont know where people are going to swing half the time, any tips?
lesion im diamond but i cant make a good play could that be beacuse i cant hear well i mean my ps4 is making too much fan noise is that the reason why k cant plau too well
U hurt my feelings but i know you are not trying to but u are trying to help out lol but love the videos❤
Needles set
Lesion Season😂😂😂💯
How are you able to play on orange and how do i throw my drone without instantly taking the phone out ??
controls > drone deployment > set it to advanced
accessibility > your team color > orange
bro how am i supposed to know when to peak where to go when to move when should i prefire where the opponent is at like i dont understand how im supposed to understand all of it at once
Seige is a map where you can do anything. (Lesion 2023)
It’s so weird I’ve played the game for a few years and I know the maps but like I’m bad at using it to my advantage all I have is gun skill it’s like I’m capped

just like every other game in the worl teamates are holdign me back
how is my guy using those earphones for game sound
I wish I could build good game sense I can’t play that often though and most of the time it’s on a ps4 with McDonald’s Wi-Fi
My game sense is actually really good, I just can’t aim to save my life figuratively and literally, I’ll read people like a book and still get clapped😂😂😂 I have the gunskill of a gold but the game sense of a diamond, which means I’m stuck in high plat/low emerald💀
Start aiming at head level you don't need to flick or aim if your sight is already next to or on their face
I need to put more hours into the game to learn all maps and angles, siege is such a different game compared to halo, cod or any shooter where you do good if you know how to aim
Why do you randomly destroy objects at the start of the rounds?
Gamesense 😅
Dont you love it when you lag out and get banned from ranked for 2 days😍😍😍
Bro used pokemon as a example to improve game sense
Got nothing on ny Castle skills boii
We need ur setting
I play on a fucking couch with a controller while eating and watch this to get at least one more kill 😅
You could’ve used Chess as your analogy instead of Pokémon lol
I love teammates that have good callouts but when they try to do their own thing they sell bad.
what does playing crossfire mean
I think it’s where in order for them to challenge you they have to walk into the line of fire of you and another teammate.
@@why8298 ah I see, preciate u
