That is beautiful. It went from cinematic to gameplay almost flawlessly @1:14. My heart leapt when I realized this is what we're going to see (MORE OR LESS) when it's released. They're heading into the exact direction I had hoped they would take. Another sequel that is going to take me out of this crazy world for a few hours at a time. I cannot wait.

3:20 In the background , thats not a fire! That's the effects you see in game in the general area around a plague heart! A cloud of blood tasting air that amplifies whatever damage the blood zeds deal to survivors, but from what we can see in the next scene where the girl climbs on top of the van, we can see the van along with the general area around it is taken over by the blood plague. I think that , just like in Heartland, Plague Walls are going to be a massive threat in State of decay 3 which is honestly so cool if I am right!
I think the reason the girl was there before calling for help is that she was attempting to take out the plague wall before it could fully grow out and fully grow its protective shell

In case you missed it, there's that flag on the bottom left corner of the shrine. So it's going to be THAT type of game with THOSE forced missions that you don't want to play. The agenda pushing always decreases the quality of games. Prepare for several more years of waiting just to be disappointed.
Dude, the flags there because thats a shrine to remember everyone who's dead. The flags there to remember people from the community. It's probably gonna be a good game, even if it has a pride flag

That shrine was a memorial shrine. She took a charm thing off of the fallen guy. Perhaps it's just a charm from someone, and we'll have a charm system for the fallen survivors for you to rescue to put in a shrine in your base.
Some have survivors have shoes that they're known for, others have flowers, some have keychains, and others will have that one you mentioned. It's too soon to make permanent judgements. I do know what you mean though, so please don't misunderstand.
Just don't play it. If that's your biggest fear, then this studio and any player can survive without you playing that game. Just saying.

To me it looks like the first part is showing the tactics rhat we have been using, standing on the car roofs and blowing out legs. Then the cinematic changes and the jugg comes out of what ever that is. It does look cool and id be super happy if there was more character development.

The original one is hilarious is jus a fat dude with super human strenght and resistance for no reason, so this one at least has a lot more muscles.

What analysis it is a pure cut scene no gameplay?
There is sooo much to unpack. Is the original SOD3 trailer tied into this one? If so then where is the new climate changes and the zombie animals? Did they just scrap the first trailer and give us updated graphics to SOD2? Looks like different variants of freaks. A little more interaction with the group. New storylines? No hint at a release date? Personally, I’m ready to give them my money now because I love the franchise and I still play SOD2. If the graphics were better I would play SOD1 more but with 2, I love blowing up a community and starting from scratch. Also, are we going to get customizable bases? What are your thoughts?
My impression is that both videos are tied together, they're just taking place in different locations at different times. It's clear from the first video they want weather to be a thing, so I'm hoping that means snow and thunder storms. Man that would rock! We don't have a release date yet, but if they've come this far then it can't be too far out? Maybe 2 or so years at the most? The only thing that gave me pause is that both dudes in the video were beardless, this has been an issue that's been dogging UL for a while now. Hopefully we get beards in this game; I've always thought it was a little jarring to see male survivors running around clean shaven all the time.
idk from what i heard they didn't even want to reveal the game that early and they barley started development but i do hope those concepts are added the solo survivor and undead animals

@@sauceomegaming I just noticed on Steam that State of Decay 3 has a storefront now (still no release date listed). It's super interesting that the original video (the one with the winter environment) is not present there among the previews.
I want to know if we can customize our starting group or character, a memorial and way to get a piece of the dead character to be part of the memorial, have funny bugs like the first two State of decays, and for us to board up the windows like the first one.

Yea Idk I cant see myself being excited for this from them delaying the game so many times. The game doesnt look very impressive either. It just looks like a reskinned SoD2 but guess too early too tell. It seems like for the past few months they used SoD2 with all their awful updates to test their new SoD3 game. Hated every single update starting with update 33 and if SoD3 is gonna be anything like that probably not gonna like it.
Better to be delayed than another buggy cyberpunk and fallout 76 disaster 😑 give it a try🎮😎😎😎😎😎

Better graphics and much higher details is a must. Look inside the vehicle and outside, its barely any details and the graphics in general are lacking heavily, lets be real its 2024 and UE5 looks better than this (it actually is UE5 but this is not graphicaly modelled to its best standards in my opinion). They have a LONG way to go with this one
they're using their own art style and i think they're continuing the trend of having every building enterable i don't think any console or pc can run at 4k 60fps with HDR and RTX with a map like that, besides it's looks good yah just spoiled with everything now a days 🤦🏾♂️
