I was in a toxic relation and can understand what are you feeling ,I had also experienced the same thing the girl I was with used to also blackmail me that she will put fake allegation against me and ruin my life so I got very scared but after months of this mental torcher .I finally took a step to crush that sim and throw it away and deleted all my handles . .
Moral : if you are going through any toxic relation be bold and end it because there is no going further with it.

It's true. I've went through something similar, in fact, i went through the exact same thing. And i still believe that not all men are the same, because i know my dad and my brother, they're good men, and many of my friends too, are great men. You can't judge an entire gender based on just 1 or 2 people :)

The toughest thing perhaps is to accept when a relationship has run its course and you need to end it, but it gets even worse when you're stuck with an abuser. Kudos to you for making the huge step that you did.

The major difference I feel is that sociopaths actually care about their impression that's why they are good at charming and socializing whereas psychopaths don't usually hide their behaviour.

Edit:- it's been a year since I commented on this video, well just a quick update....will get myself enroll into the college as a computer science student in 20th september ( 4 days more to go)it's been fun up until now, learned a lot about programming n stuff ,got my hands into app and website development....talking about relationships...i did received some confessions(being a boy that was unexpected haha) but had to reject them as i don't want to be in relationships just for the sake of it,as it like having fun...i think life has much more to offer as i grow up..well now's the time to do self improvement,sharpen your skills and achieve something....will think about relationships when I get myself settled untill then it's all grind and having fun with a little grp of friends you have.

I went through the same thing with my ex-girlfriend. There was never any physical abuse because im physically a lot stronger than her. But for 4 years she kept psychologically abusing me and breaking down my personality until i completely lost my identity. She was a friend from school whom I had known for well over a decade and all that history just made me so miserable at the thought of breaking up that I never could. She cheated on me and blamed alcohol saying she becomes a different person when she drinks and when that did not fly she said she is a feminist and I wouldn't understand her choices. I was never prioritized for anything, I was always an option and she made sure I always knew that by her actions. I would always apologize even when she was wrong just because i did not want to lose her. In the end when I grew willful and refused to agree with her on everything she broke up with me. Funny thing is despite all the abuse I still missed her for many months after our break up but slowly and surely I came to understand that although I missed our tender moments and the person I fell in love with, I did not miss the person she turned out to be. I was no longer anxious and afraid of what she would do next, and the shit excuse she would give.

I got cheated in a relationship where she just left me cus she lost interest in me and got rid of me, in spite of my dedicated efforts towards her. It's too tough to forget her as I truly loved her and it is painful to remember her at the same time. It is just so hard to accept how can one cheat/dump you even if you have given so much of you to that person . She was my weakness and she just took advantage of that itself.

Getting out of a toxic relationship is difficult because one moment they verbally abuse you and the next they act all kind and nice, which makes you think that they might have had a bad day, they also try to make you believe that it's your fault, that you are worthless and incompetent, and you tend to believe it. Even I had a boyfriend who verbally abused me for months, he would hurt himself and blackmail me into staying with him, I broke up with him the moment he said he was doing all these things out of love for me.

First of all, I would like to thank you for addressing this issue. Toxic relationships are much common nowadays. Sometimes I really wish there was someone to guide me through what I was going through.
It begins with a soft feeling. It seems like a fairy tale. Everything feels so unreal and sweet initially. You wear rose-colored glasses and perceive the world far from reality. As time passes by, the person finally shows his true colors. From sweet talks to verbal abuse followed by GASLIGHTING and manipulative behavior, which is considered the worst of all. You end up harming yourself.
Finally, you step ahead and leave the person behind. That's when you realize your self-esteem. Trust me, many are willing to help you out and love and care about you more than you think you deserve. You have to start prioritizing your feelings.

So trueee, i have been in this kind of relationship for 2 years, he turned from a person who loves me a lot to a person who make me feel like hell. And i always hoped that he would change, things will get better, but i was wrong. He made me feel like i was never enough, never supported me, isolated me, never listened to me.... the list is very very long. Tbh i was like this guy in the story, possessive and short tempered,( i think i was very insecure) although never went to an extent to harm someone physically. But now i regret that part of me so much that i have no desire left to be in a relationship again
Hey...Its always good to know yourself first. Glad that u realised ur wrong doings. Start changing yourself man. Have good nad healthy foods you love. Live a good life. And start being kind to your parents and then to your first. Avoid people who are trying to use you and try to be as much independent as possible. Start appreciating other ones' good works and listen to good songs and start making a good habit. The first few days will be difficult. But the little things do matter. And dont hustle too fast to be in a relationship. I hope you can again find yourself in a relationship. And do make adjustments. Also if you still find yourself in troubles. Then do go to a good psychologist for treatment. Trust me there is nothing to be ashamed about it.
The one thing that absolutely needs to be taken care of is mental health and majority of us neglect it and fall into troubles while failing to control our behaviour becoming more paranoid.
Lastly start by loving yourself.
Being short tempered sometimes isn't a problem. But yeah, if a man/girl says like he shall do suicide when you leave him or he/she will murder you, then it may be toxic.

I don't know much about a toxic relationship ..but I do know the pressure of replying to someone's text all the time ..... my friendship with a classmate in school ..became toxic for more than 5-6 months ...I knew her for 3 years...but she changed in between ..a lot .... she would always fight with me say things which would hurt me ..I would show no reaction but I used constantly think about the things she said.... and after some days she would act normal as if nothing happened ..she would often say 'leave me' and break the friendship ..but I didn't as I thought she will change back ... because for her habit I started to avoid seeing my phone for days. And my other friends would get angry cuz I didn't replied to them for 1-3 days ... but slowly I started to understand my friend why was doing all the thing she was doing and why our friendship became toxic ...our friendship is now better than ever and I'm now happy with all the people I have in my life :)

I've actually went through something very similar recently. fights everyday, rude behaviour, verbal abuse, him being dramatic af when I tell him I wanna break up and everything. But it was long distance so it was never physical. We did meet once but that was it. And I had friends who made me realise early signs of this toxic relationship so I got out of it early before it got worse. When I started gettin out of his life slowly, He said he loves me and started saying that he didn't mean to hurt me and that he'll change for me. He drank and smoke a lot too, I asked him to limit and he said no without hesitating. It was all online so it was easy for me to get away from him. so I totally understood your situation and I'm proud of you for being so strong❤️

People with such minds are way more patient then any other people. They slowly involved in our life and controlling your small things and till the time u realise that it's not correct they have already drained u properly. its very hard for the abused partner to get out of an abusive relationship as first thing abuser does is make the other person (his partner) totally dependent on him...
as in this vid we saw the abuser made her cut all the ties with friends which was her social support , now she couldnt even go to her friends for emotional needs.
why was this done ? it is done so that she have to rely for support from him only (so more control of her life goes to him)

Even I am a very patient Person, but I have not harassed or abused any girl so far. So this is not true at all.
Been in a similar situation myself- it's very difficult to come out of this as ur fully dependant on the toxic person. But yes, I agree that u can't help a person who doesn't want to be helped. It is incredibly difficult, but if u put ur mind to it then u can escape such a situation. Just staying in the situation without being strong enough to leave won't just hurt u, but ur family and friends who care abt u. My friend is in toxic relationship herself- but she's not fully committed to get herself get out of it, and I've stopped giving advice and help coz she never fully goes through it. It's incredibly frustrating tbh. I Understand both points of view
However the best u can do is support ur friend in this situation! ( if it gets too much for u just tell it to their face that I'm not gonna advise u in this matter anymore but still be a good friend to her! )
