Sarasota Police Department Swearing In Ceremony - March 2023

Sarasota Police Chief Rex Troche held a swearing-in ceremony for 10 new Sarasota Police officers on Thursday, March 30, 2023.
The ceremony was held at the Robert L. Taylor Community Complex for the first time ever! The 10 officers join the Sarasota Police Department as 2nd Class Probation. The new officers will begin their Field Training Program with Field Training officers for several months before being on their own serving and protecting the City of Sarasota.

Hopefully they was trained, it's not officer safety, it's to serve, and protect their communities, without violating, and extorting the public who pays their wages.
