Ugh and my ex popped back up after the NY more toxic than ever before, talking about how he's going to take a plea deal and wants to change his life. He's getting out of jail next Friday and wants to "try again", as we call it. 🥲
I visited him yesterday (why was his visiting hours right in the middle of the damn Seahawks parade in the heart of the sports district of downtown Seattle 🤣 this guy got a better view of the parade than me!), and he's talking about he's "ready to start investing in reality" and feels some kind of way since he knows he's has been "wasting the last 20 years" of his life being unmanageable. Whatever plea he's about to take to avoid a very lengthy prison sentence is going to have him locked into a cycle of therapy and good albeit restrictive behavior, no doubt, and I'm going to do everything possible to make sure that he is successful.
