4:30 In the NFL, every snap MUST be placed by the referee, not by one of the teams. Dak should have handed it straight to the ref but instead the lineman tried to rush the snap. Ref tried to make the snap official & also not allow the offense to just place the ball (too far forward) where they wanted to.
The referee has to put the ball in play. That's why he ran in picked it up and put it back down. Plus it is his job to spot the ball or put it where it is supposed to be before the next play can start.. A player can't just put the ball wherever they want.
It's a team sport. There are some bad screwups, and lots of players who are blamed for costing their team the game, but I never liked that characterization. It's a 60 minute game with many other players on the field. If the game is so close that a mistake on a single play decides it at the end, you can almost always look back at previous plays where someone else screwed up, causing the game to be so close to begin with. However, I know that rationalization would be of little comfort to the players in this video.
I recall years ago when a blown call by the refs handed a team the win. The players on the losing team were ranting and raving at the cosmic injustice of it all, but the losing coach said something along the lines of, "If you're in a position to let one bad call beat you, then it's your fault you lost because you should have played better and avoided that situation to begin with."
At 5:38 that’s not harsh. Offsides is a rule for a reason. Without enforcing it, the defense can just get an early jump whenever they want and be in the backfield before the ball is snapped. What would be harsh is to not call it
6:30 the ball was tipped on this play by an Eagles player, but he has missed a lot of kicks haha if you watch that clip in slow motion and zoomed in, you can see just the tip of his finger touch the ball which made it go wide
Only during the final two minutes of the first half and final five during the second half. For the clock to stop any other time the ball must go out of bounds by itself
The one where the ref came in and moved the ball that in a sense cost the Cowboys the game, he was doing what he is supposed to do. A player cannot place the ball themselves. The ball is supposed to be given to a ref to place the ball officially. That’s all on the cowboys players. It’s more on the center because they are the first to touch the ball and are the leader of the offensive line. Many people will blame the ref but none of the players gave him the ball
Just to answer your question about why the referee got involved in that one play, a referee must be the one to place the ball considering a play always hinges on where the ball started... it must be placed by the official.
I'm going to guess this is not here because it was overshadowed by David Tyree's helmet catch a few plays later, but if Asante Samuel catches the interception that basically hit him in the hands in the 2007(8) Super Bowl, then the New England Patriots have their undefeated season, and Asante Samuel is not the bitter man he is. Nevermind, there it is at 3:33.This isn't just the game Kabir, this has the first undefeated 16 game schedule at stake. Still, the ONLY undefeated 16 or 17 game schedule that has been accomplished.
Hey Kabir. You should react to the USA v Mexico semifinals that happened this week. I know you reacted in 2021 to the USA v Mexico gsme but this one shows how far USA soccer has come! You even mentioned it that the future was bright for usa
3:35 to make things worse this is in the Super Bowl, had he caught it the patriots would have won the game and became the first undefeated team in a 16 game season
4:30 the referee has to be the one to place the ball, otherwise players could intentionally move it around as they please. As a cowboys fan, this play haunts me but it’s 100% on our QB, not the referee. He should have known the rule.
Luckily NFL fans are the most understanding and forgiving viewers is sports history and would have forgotten all about these plays by the next week. :)
I think you're talking about college basketball man. No one is ever writing articles about how those coaches are doing and the players they recruit. Not a one.
That's not true I used to be an NFL fan until Colin suckadick started kneeling down during the national anthem then the rest of those dumbasses started doing the same I haven't watch the NFL since
You cannot be drafted out of highschool, you have to have played 2 years of college/university ball,.. this is for safety reasons. Only 15% of highschool players will ever play college ball, and.05% will play high level Division 1 ball.... And only .001 of those will be entered into the draft, and even if drafted in the 6 rounds, you have less than a 50% chance of making an NFL roster..... But there are exceptions

@@bigernmacrackin6176 I can't believe Goff is going to put together another decent year. I have to see it first. Detroit is one of my bigger fades this year, but I know less than nothing.

I thought there would be more Cowboys/Dak lowlights.
yep that one was on Dak!

Nobody cares if a player loses focus for a second in the 2nd quarter. Only when the game is on the line.

The Justin tucker missed PAT is odd. That was his first PAT hep ever missed. He is still the greatest kicker ever.
“Feel the ball slip between your fingers” - Pause. 😂
Surprised that Jackie Smith's end zone drop in Super Bowl XIII wasn't in here. . .
3:19 That's what happens when TJ Watt gets in your face lol
in the NFL if the player goes out of bounds while holding the ball the clock freezes at the moment and the ball is placed at that spot.

React to USA vs Mexico Nations League semi final it was a crazy match
Very surprised Scott Norwood missing the FG in Super Bowl 25 wasn't here.
If you was confused consider on the Tennessee 81 pushed the defender and that offense pass interferences
4:10 The Ref has to spot the ball, not the player.
Getting out of bounds in football stops the clock
Only during the final two minutes of the first half and final five during the second half. For the clock to stop any other time the ball must go out of bounds by itself
I STRONGLY encourage reacting to the full USA vs Mexico Nations league game. Because… chaos lol

Would've thought they would mention that 2016 Bengals vs Steelers game with 2 penalties at the end.
The Plowboys
knew that they have to let the referee place the ball.
I was hoping they'd show Todd Gurley's accidental touchdown
People don't go from high school straight into the NFL. You have to play college ball first.
Always hand the ball to the ref while time is expiring quickly so he can place it on the spot or the players could cheat yardage.
Haven’t seen the video. Haven’t watched any of the reaction. Expect it to basically be a Vontez Burfict compilation 🤷🏻♂️🤣
Good one!
Of course The Browns are on here.

Idk. It's a bit tough saying some of these cost the game. There have been worse, clearer mistakes.
Indeed. Some of these were hardly easy plays to make.
Referees place the ball every play. they just don't record that.
You don't get drafted out of high-school. You have to go through at least 2 years in a university.
Many of these errors are blamed on the receiver when the quarterback is at fault, or under pressure.
Dak placed the ball down, the referee is the one who places the ball. Dak admitted his screwed up. That's why the referee places the ball, not players.
Many of the mistakes were made by probowlers. So they didn't get cut.
