Just FYI - A54 overheats way more than Edge 40. There is a 2-3 degrees celsius difference with Samsung going upto 45-46 vs Moto stopping at 43-44 while performing same tasks (video shooting, COD game) outdoors for the same amount of time.
Thanks, very good information. Both phones does not get to warm here in Denmark where it's below 20 celcius 8-9 months a year. So here is no problem for both.
In fact the problem rose because the research for design (OEM) was done in facilities located mostly in European or North America. Two regions which almost always remain air-conditioned through out the year even outdoors. Had they done the testing in warmer locations like the MENA region or Asia - these designs would not have passed QC@@YOURTECHFRIEND
Which has the best camera/processor, in your opinion. Im about to buy one and i cant finding "the review" u know... And I have a feeling with yours, please jajaj
@@YOURTECHFRIENDIt's probably one of the best because of a fact that you had both phones simultaneously to compare (in your hands!). Can you tell me which phone you would get and give me a quick explanation why? I would be really grateful.
@@meegabyte As a regular person who does not update every year I'd choose the Samsung because of it's longevity. Personally I'd pick the Moto this time. But the Samsung is build like a tank, and gets better/more software updates 🙂
I've been using the Edge 40 for 6-7 months now. The stock camera app gets a lot of hate and people are porting the G cam app. It finds it hard to focus on videos, unless you manually lock the exposure and focus. It just auto focuses every two seconds or so. Mine has a problem with the charging port. Sometimes I have to wiggle it to get it charging, which gets very annoying. And this is the second Moto phone that has this happened to me. The previous one was One Vision. I'm thinking of chanigin mine.
Thanks for the insights! 👍 Ohhh I remember the One Vision - promised so much, and then that horrid inability to find the right focus! 😢 So you've been unlucky with your choices. I know it's a bit late to go back, but the Edge 30 was a very solid phone I had for 8 months, where I was happy with everything except for pictures in the evening, where the shutter speed just wasn't fast enough.
Can you tell which s21 fe version (USA, UK, Vietnam, India) has less green kine issue? Exynos and snapdragon which has less chance of green line? Thanks in advance.
I want a phone that can last 4 years (so until 2028) without having any major battery or performance problem, which one is the best between the two according to my preferences?
Samsung is so uninspiring these days in this middle class, design wise, with thickest phones and thickest bezels of all the manufacturers, that even if they were decidevly better overall I wouldn't choose them.
Im still more than sceprical if the a54 even lasts 4 years The previous a50s all performed really poor. The 52s was usable bur in th3 end i was disappointed again Dont know the 54 tho
Well it's surely build like a tank! So I would be surprised if it doesn't hold up very well. In my oppion it's like Samsung are trying to make a "Nokia"-name for themselves in terms of durability with that design
Design, weight, speed charge, photos, and motorolas software i think make it better
What about the updates?

Overheating is when too warm. The phones obviously have different setting for thermothrotteling kicking in. No worries so it seems.
Which one had best speaker?
Samsung by far! Didn't you see and hear it in the video? 🙂
Display and speakers are definitely better on the a54.
Great comparison

Best Camera and Processor : Edge 40.
Best ruggedness and longevity : Samsung A54
But its not 3 years of major updates for Edge 40 and 4 years for A54? You said 2 years only for Moto.
Yes that's true. I said so in the video
Great comparison!
Thanks :-) 👍

Verdammt wenn ich aus Deutsch antworten muß... 😬😅 Aber die antwort ist : Nein, die Moto hast nicht Knox order hardware sicherheit

Moto Edge 40 Neo
@@experiencelife9234 what are your thoughts. Muje a54 24k me pad raha hai. Should go for it
What color is the Motorola in this video?
It's green. A light green with vegan leather back. A very nice phone hold handle

Hi Techlife, sorry I don't know :-/ But as it is a screen issue, I would assume it depends on the batch of screens, more than being CPU dependant
@@YOURTECHFRIEND thanks ❤️
Nice video, you always make me laugh!😁 I would choose......the a54!👍
Thanks, and thanks Sandra 😊👍

For longevity and battery life it will almost certain be the Samsung A54

Good point
This 2 and poco f5 which phone has best display
According to GSMarena I'd say the Poco F5 has the best screen - also the best chip btw

My Samsung A50 still great after 5 years and upgrade to A54 ❤
Did you own any of them?
