Just FYI - A54 overheats way more than Edge 40. There is a 2-3 degrees celsius difference with Samsung going upto 45-46 vs Moto stopping at 43-44 while performing same tasks (video shooting, COD game) outdoors for the same amount of time.

In fact the problem rose because the research for design (OEM) was done in facilities located mostly in European or North America. Two regions which almost always remain air-conditioned through out the year even outdoors. Had they done the testing in warmer locations like the MENA region or Asia - these designs would not have passed QC@@YOURTECHFRIEND
The brightnees of motorola is great.Maby samung dispay is better for coloring but few year later the quality drops really quick .Motorola has great speaker it depends of what you like( prefrences).The mic was greater on Motorola 100 percent.Both have LiPo battery 4400 and 5000.Motorola have wirless support .People thinking that samsung a54 have same battery as Samsung Ultra 🙈.It drains very quick compare to Flagship Ultra series over year.A54 have heat probleme.Motorla have as great chipset faster than A54. Both phones produces great pics and videos .They support 4k 30ps video recording even selfie camera. They are both ip68 wateresistant. Overall Motorola beat Samsung in many ways. The mic and speaker is preference to compare them who is better.Both have stero speakers so in neither of this phones you wouldn't be dissapointed. But the price of Motorola is Great. Samsung is falling the steps of Apple they are pricing midrage smarphone very high. It's crazy bcs they will lose bcs you have midrange like : Honor 90 ,Realme 11pro+ , Vivo V29 and Xiaomi 13pro + far ahead of samsung. They are bringing so much features in their new phones that you can find them only in flagships smartphones 1000-1200$. Xiaomi 13pro + 200megapixel camera ,Honor 200megapixel camera and their display is great with minimaliatic besel . If honor brings wateresistant to their midrage phones and wirless support they will be nr 1 for midrange smartphones. Midrage smartphones now are bringing snapdragon gen 2 or 3 in their phones . So competition for samsung is really big . This is great for costumer. Please people don't be like apple fans when it was the number one in time of Steve Jobs that brought inovations every year. Samsung is keeping for three years same desighn only few changes like Iphone . They only bringing a 200 megapixel camera or Apple 48 megapixel,dynamic island ,action button ,5x optical zoom ,e-sim ,sattelite emergeny calls etc. Samsung now is removing the telephoto camera 10x with new one 5x or maby 6x. Maby they will bring a new display slightly better and snapdragon gen 3. Overall what is new innovative of these big dogs smartphone flagship is only new chips and sighitly better camera and new software that has nothing new to make you wow.

I've Edge 40 Neo right now, I confirm it's Dolby Atmos stereo speakers are amazing, They're AI generated and sounds are different in portrait and landscape modes. The only problem I've faced is battery life, when 144hz or auto refresh rate is active (+auto brightness) it drains fast, about 6 hours and half SOT under pressure.

I've been using the Edge 40 for 6-7 months now. The stock camera app gets a lot of hate and people are porting the G cam app. It finds it hard to focus on videos, unless you manually lock the exposure and focus. It just auto focuses every two seconds or so. Mine has a problem with the charging port. Sometimes I have to wiggle it to get it charging, which gets very annoying. And this is the second Moto phone that has this happened to me. The previous one was One Vision. I'm thinking of chanigin mine.

I know it's a bit late to go back, but the Edge 30 was a very solid phone I had for 8 months, where I was happy with everything except for pictures in the evening, where the shutter speed just wasn't fast enough.
Can you tell which s21 fe version (USA, UK, Vietnam, India) has less green kine issue? Exynos and snapdragon which has less chance of green line? Thanks in advance.

I want a phone that can last 4 years (so until 2028) without having any major battery or performance problem, which one is the best between the two according to my preferences?
Samsung is so uninspiring these days in this middle class, design wise, with thickest phones and thickest bezels of all the manufacturers, that even if they were decidevly better overall I wouldn't choose them.
Im still more than sceprical if the a54 even lasts 4 years The previous a50s all performed really poor. The 52s was usable bur in th3 end i was disappointed again Dont know the 54 tho
Well it's surely build like a tank! So I would be surprised if it doesn't hold up very well. In my oppion it's like Samsung are trying to make a "Nokia"-name for themselves in terms of durability with that design

Overheating is when too warm. The phones obviously have different setting for thermothrotteling kicking in. No worries so it seems.
