IMPORTANT NOTE :Some people do not pronounce the word (mustaqeem) correctly by making the letter "taa" ت sound like the letter "ttaa" ط. Maybe because of the word "siratt" صراط "before.

@@Sharaf_Karim The difference between them can be observed more in mouth shape while pronouncing the Kasra. the mistake here 3:51 is shortening the kasra and applying the imalah on the kasra. play the section at 0.5x speed. and you'll notice the difference Inshallah. For example: in the word "difference": the "i" is how you should pronounce the kasra. a full clear /i/ sound. but the mistake is pronouncing kasra like the first "e" in "difference". it is shorter and mouth stays a little bit more open than with /i/ sound. I hope it helped.

Also a common but a difficult to notice mistake is that people pronounce the ي from the nose at the end of all the ayaat in al fatihah (الرحيم ، دين، نستعين etc ) the way to find out if you are pronouncing these words from the nose or not is by pinching the nose while reciting and if your sound stops then you are pronouncing from the nose

In fajr prayer when the Imam recite Surah al-Fatihah or any other Surah and makes a major mistake but continue reciting... this kind of payer is vailed or not?
The Hanafi and Maliki schools of thought consider the ayah to end after alayhim. And also the basmala is not considered an ayah. Both ways are correct, I simply wanted to point out the ikhtilaaf on the matter. Jazakumullahu khairan was Salamu alaykum.

They sound very similar, but I think the mistake is shortening the kasra so much that is sounds like a sukoon. So the mistake is saying rabb-i-l-aalameen with the 'i' so short that it's like your going straight from the 'b' to the 'l'. He emphasised to pronounce the 'i' on the end of 'rabb' clearly.

Being a native Arab speaker helps a lot. People who haven't grown up hearing the Arabic phonemes since childhood usually cannot hear a difference.

You missed out on one of the commonest mistakes, at least in my area, reciting ِمَغْضُوب as ِمَغَضُوب. There by putting fatiha on ض

Tashkeel wasn’t standard in earlier Muslim societies.
How did they recited without relying on it as we do.
well many of them were very fluent in arabic so they didnt _need_ tashkeel unlike many of us
Qur'an is mutawwatir and it's passed through recitation not through print. Ustadh has a video about this.
