- Hey guys! Welcome back to my channel. This video is an unboxing of my new Lady Dior handbag and also a quick "what fits inside". For those that follow me on IG you would know I am currently on my European holiday. I pre-recorded this a few weeks back knowing I wouldn't be able to upload any videos for about 1 month. I thought I had lost this footage and had to film it all again but lo and behold it somehow reappeared! Yay!!!! :) I hope you all enjoy and it helps those that may be considering purchasing this bag! beautiful! not sure if you are checking as you are away but 2 things about strap! 1. check out Fendi's strap you and see if they have a black version 2. go to Dior while in Paris and ask about strap there (perhaps mention your strap may have been misplaced?!? and if it was, what options would you have type thing!) 3. I know hermes sells straps in leather + canvas, perhaps they could help too although they may check if you have a bag so not sure!
Thank you sweetie :) I love the Fendi Strap too but i really want the embellished one. Think i will just used a plain black strap from one of my other black bags first if needed. That was a good idea to go to Paris Dior unfortunately I am now back and suffering a big case of post holiday blues lol Thanks for watching xx
Hi Mel yes you can purchase a strap separate, but only you tell them that you lost it because they don't sell it. You will then have to leave your bag and the shop will send it to Paris and 4-6 weeks later "Voila" your bag return with a strap and it cost £180 in the UK for classic strap. Your LD is stunning xx
Thanks for letting me know sweetie. However my local boutique knows I bought this bag with the crystal strap so I can't use that excuse....plus I'm a terrible liar lol. I just wish they would sell the extra strap!! In the meantime I think I'll just use an LV one if I do need it but so far I've been enjoying carrying her with the embellished strap 😊 xx

hey Mel I was able to get a new plain strap in London store. I think you have to tell them you lost the original and i paid around £150.
LADY DIOR is classic. must have and definitely pass down to my daughter as well. love the strap n hope they sell it separately. Have a great trip and enjoy your holidays!!

Dior leathers feel alot more durable than chanel, I have 5 LD all in different finishes from Patent to boxed calf to lamb skin. The limited editions hand leather interior whereas the classic and seasonal colours have a fabric lining. Love love love the strap!!!

lovely bag! 😍 lady dior has been on my bucket list since forever! just got mine in large size in rose poudre colour(i was gonna go for black but the rose poudre suits me more) and it's absolutely divine! i am soooo happy! bought it last week in london and at the moment guess what?! the price has gone up! and that colour and size is unavailable. so that's makes me feel so lucky! i was just in time before all that happens! phew! 😅

Hi lovely, with this particular combo with the embellished strap it only came with the silver hardware. If I was to buy a plain one that would be a tough choice as the champagne gold is beautiful too! I rotate my bags quite a lot so since I have bought her I've prob used her about 6-8 times. However she is such a classic and I love her to bits! x

Welcome to the Lady Dior club. Congratulations!!! Wow!!! I did not know the inside lining is leather. Traditionally they are fabric with the cannage pattern. What's interesting is the extra luxurious options included for this seasonal bag (bling shoulder strap and leather lining) in the medium size and you only pay $4300 compared to the standard $4100.00. I think for the $200 extra you get so much more not to mention the lifetime warranty so keep your receipt and authenticity card tucked safely away. Congratulations again. 🤗👛
Thanks lovely! Yes I didn't realise the inside was leather, I always thought it was fabric too. So bonus when I found it was leather! 😄 The price difference in Australia between the classic and seasonal is more than $200. I think $700 aud from memory so def cheaper in the states! My only wish is that they would sell the plain strap seperate! Nevertheless happy to join the Lady Dior club finally xoxo

Congrats!!! Obviously I love this bag. And if I didn't have those bags in similar colors already I would have bought them with the beautiful straps. Obsessed! I wish I could buy the strap separately! And a quick note: put the strap on the outside of the handles opposite of the charms. It keeps the handles in place when you are using it 😉 I did a review of my two lady bags and one is almost 9 years old and is still in great condition. You'll love it!!!
Ps- I did a review on my two bags and one of them is with the champagne hardware; it's the lighter cold color and is perfect for me.

since you have had bag for almost a decade, does the zipper mouth loosen up with time? that was the one thing that stopped me from getting this size so I was looking at next smaller size with flap but have not taken plunge yet! any thoughts would be most appreciated! thx!
+PB PB yes! It does, but it takes time. It took my lambskin about 6 months to loosen and even longer for my patent. It's one of those things that you have to be ok with, which is why I like the large size, because it is easier than the medium. I hope that helps 😊

Hi I own a black lambskin Lady Dior as well, but the slightly older model with the simple non adjustable strap. I live in Paris and I contacted a CD boutique about buying the longer adjustable one because the simple strap that came with my bag was too short for me. They said to come with the bag so that they could verify the leather type etc. and they told me that it would cost me 180€ with a 3 months delivery time. I find it super ridiculous the 3 months wait for a strap that is not a "special order" but an identical one that comes with the current model that they have in stock!!! Anyways, try contacting them again maybe they do it now in your country? I love my Lady Dior and I didn't realize that it looked as EXQUISITE as yours on video !!!!!!!! :-))

As a former employee of Dior. I have to say this is a very good pick. Classic with a nice twist on the strap. Only buying Lady Dior would come with this new way of packaging, and the details would vary according to the boutique you buy it from.

i am bidding on a preloved one now not gonna tell my dad though because he absolutly hates my bag addiction but come on it's better to spend it on preloved bags than lets say cigarettes (i don't smoke just a example)

Hi lovely!! I know #thestruggleisreal lol so many beautiful bags out there! What Chanel are u thinking of getting? I'll say either Chanel or lady Dior 😊 if I pull the opening with both hands no my hands don't get scratched but if I try getting in with one hand it does scrape my hand a little. The opening is def the most annoying part but I hear you get used to it and it softens with use. Hope that helps and thanks for watching! Xx

+Quietstorm91 thanks so much Tracey! I adore Gucci and LV too 😄 I think from what you have described perhaps the Chanel may be a better choice. The medium classic flap is timeless and you really can't go wrong there. I love mine so much but it doesn't hold a whole heap. If you need more room go for Rock n Rome it does look quite a bit bigger on the body though in my opinion. However it's a great price point and you can make it cross body too by purchasing a longer chain strap elsewhere. In saying all the that a lady Dior does dress up jeans and that's how I'll be wearing mine! Not sure I'm helping lol Best thing is to go into store and have a try and take a few selfies always helps me! Have a great day xx

this bag is gorgeous! the latest seasonal lady dior seems to come with batches on the strap... is it worth buying? does it keep its value if i want to sell it later? thanks.
Lovely choice and the Lady Dior is indeed a quality piece. I think it's not about what it fits in, but quite a pain to get the things out when you need them.. :p

I'm more into the mini, without the zip because i'm more petite and the smaller size suits me better.

I just realized you did not mention the booklet that comes with all Lady Dior bags. It's a sizable booklet so there is no way you could have missed it. If you didn't get it email Dior and let them know you did not get it. It has a tiny history of the bag and simple maintenance instructions. They will take up to 5 days to respond because it is the European location that will respond and the English may be broken but you will be surprised how they track you down. I contacted them once to inquire about their maintains plan and the only info I gave was the style of bag and size (did not mention color), that I flew East because there was no Dior in my state and that I purchased it over the weekend. They emailed me back with all the specifics: my name, address, style and COLOR of bag, date purchased and where and proceeded to answer my question. I was shocked how they tracked me down . There is some serious customer service going on in that company. So far I'm impressed.
No I didn't get a booklet actually. Thanks so much for letting me know lovely . I'll call my local boutique and inquire about this. I saw another persons unboxing recently and she didn't get it too? So unfortunately I'm not sure how much it cost in Euro. I suggest ringing your local Dior boutique as I think some stores still have this style. xx

once everything is in the bag, how easily can you get things out and back in without have to reorganize it all again?
Can I ask is it easy to get in and out of the bag because I've tried it in store but cant seem to to get my hands in.
I love the bag too but can't seem to go past the entry to the bag
When I open it with both hands I find it ok but if I try open it with one hand to get into the bag, the zipper does scrape my hand a little. I hear from those that have had this bag for awhile that the opening does soften a little so it makes it easier to get in and out of. You can see from the video when I put stuff into it it's not too bad however can totally understand that some people this would find this very annoying. Hope that helps xx
