I just been binging the show and it is very interesting how quickly this unit went into a European model of managing their own unit and how all the different groups of inmates came together to set aside their differences to protect the shared freedom by settling things amongst themselves, it is actually very bold and daring of this sherrif to try and prove the success of giving accountability AND freedom plus giving back humanity to felons. These people actually did very well and showed WHY EUROPEAN JAIL IS SO MUCH MORE SUCCESFUL. But sadly, Private Prison is an INDUSTRY in America, and the model they used looks too much like a SOCIAL structure, which in alot of American ears sounds like a gateway into communism.. So this sherrif will probably have his project shot down in a quick minute because its fucking with the profits of the prison industry - and things will go back to shit despite this Sherrif's (and the inmates of Unit H) demonstration of how things can be done better

I watch it’s in it entirety and as a registered voter, and and American, the believes in prisons being reformed. It was an excellent idea and was executed, pretty darn well.
They show that they can come together as a community.
Only I believe it’s more political then anything!!!!!

I feel like there just upset that this show will create awareness of the inhumane treatment of inmates and they’ll actually have to address these issues and do they’re job for once.

Sheriff Higgins is an Exceptional Human, True Hero, others that hate this don’t like it because they don’t want the public to know how Inmates are tortured!!! So stop hating and learn from Sheriff Higgins!!! Those problems are (True Story) Sulfux County Jail needs to be investigated they treat Prisoners bad by bullying them, harassing, Intimidating and there is also a whore house going on there!! The Sulfox County Jail in Boston Massachusettes needs to be INVESTIGATED ASAP!!!! These Inmates need Help!! The Government needs to STOP pretending they don’t know what’s going on too! These places make their money off Inmates, it’s torture, it’s Evil!!

Maybe you could give some actual context and details? Is this what news has become? Not a word from the sheriff or what the programs goal was?
