I figured I wasn't having fun when I was slogging and I only ride for fun so definitely the best choice. I ended up pretty much overtaking everyone I let past after my break so it was a great tactic
Rambo tractor 🚜... I love that. And I'm definitely not giving up infact taking a 350 this year to see if there's any difference. But with the right gearing I don't understand why people don't use them. I have had two beta 4ts and honestly never had to put water in it. It never stales and has so much torque. It suits my riding style so I wouldn't swap for anything. 2t bikes are fun but such hard work and the stock tpi bikes 😂 well I won't go there if you have to spend another 3-4k to get a bike usable.. it's not really a good bike. The 390 in this video is total stock suspension everything just a fan and 12t front sprocket 👌
Keeping it real on the 4t 😉 They are so easy to ride. I suit a 4 stroke. Many two-stroke riders would be so much better on a four stroke because they don't ride the 2t to its potential
Really enjoyed that. Great effort and smart riding, good idea to conserve your energy. That 390 is almost 2 stroke like in regards to stall resistance. Certainly much better than one would expect. Looking forward to seeing more of this. Thanks for sharing.
Top riding 👊👊 I found your channel whilst researching the 390RR which I’ve just ordered. It won’t get the workout from your type of riding but I’m sure it’ll be in some Welsh ditches ruts and bushes this year. Great channel👏🏼
That was brilliant don't be so hardon yourself enjoy it make the most of it when you can.i bet their is 100s of use wise we done that when younger & could of done it Cher's bud again
Been waiting a hot minute for this one. You are a champ for even attempting this shit I have nowhere near the skills required to ride this sort of stuff. Keep up the good work lad love the channel!
Thanks for sharing. Great to see what the stage looks like throughout and to hear your commentary. The slow stuff looks so tiring! Also after your tip off at 5mins ... i recognise that Beta 390 hesitancy to start on first go! 😂 Such a Beta thing!
Haha never trust the south Africans it was another South African told me there was another minute until the beach race started 🤣 5 seconds later flag drops
I have a 23 390RR RE on order. You mention a gear change that suited the bike well in that environment. Please share. Also, did it hurt on the more open stuff? Thanks and keep putting out content.
Cracking track and you made the right strategic choice - I could feel my arms and shoulders just watching 😮. Were you the only four stroke though?? 😂😂 Class 4 stroke tractor mode on those climbs - works a treat! Those step downhills back home got you sorted, had to laugh at the ‘shit the bed’ moment on the easier bit - it happens!! Cheers for sharing 🤙
The reason I was doing that is because just to save fuel and also I'd cooked the clutch fluid. I had the stock dot 4 I usually upgrade to 5.1 but I had forgotten about it 😂
In all honesty probably not it's so good. Only thing I have done is changed the gear ratio with sprockets. For hard enduro run 12 51 and for normal I rin 13 51. It's a 2 minute job to swap . The rest is totally stock including forks 🤯 the bikes that good
We run the softest moouse possible and then drill them out for even more grip. You wouldn't get around the 1st obstacle with a tube or even a new moouse. It's so critical. My moouse in this video is about 4 years old with drilled holes. I only use it on extram events as you need 2 rim locks many use three even
@@Motomarsh thanks for the reply, bloody mail service is getting slower from the UK to New Zealand. Hahaha. If you ever get to this part of the world I've got a shed full of bikes and the riding here is out of this world.
Exactly. It's hard for people to think about this. The down side is they over over heat apparently.... Mine didn't use a drop of water over 6 days of this
Epic stuff, man. No shame in taking a break. Doing it all at a pace that you can manage is worlds better than not doing it at all.
I figured I wasn't having fun when I was slogging and I only ride for fun so definitely the best choice. I ended up pretty much overtaking everyone I let past after my break so it was a great tactic
Luciano Pavarotti singing sound in the turkish woods. Priceless. hope you won't give up on 4S. it is gold for ears. and the Rambo tractor !!!

Tremendous fun seeing you blasting with the 4 stroke. Much respect! 🎉

I'm doing it this year , looking forward to it just scouring you tube watching all vids , you doing it again
Yes sir 💪 I'm going again this year can't wait to ride in the turkey sunshine 👌
@@Motomarsh brilliant see you there
ride at your own pace - stop and rest when needed , its all in the name of fun at the end of the day .... well done - lekker video as always.
It definitely was the best choice for me. I pretty much overtook everyone I let past to rest because I was able to push that much harder after
Great video and ride, nice to have caught up with you in the hotel. Waiting for the Sky video. Sending best from sunny Turkey, still 20+ C here.
Now your just showing off 😂😂 ye was great to meet you and looking forward to next year already
Well done marsh doing what you love and doing yourself proud 💪🏴👍🍻
Thanks for the support. Enjoying yourself is all that matters
You are a good rider and combined with good editing makes for an entertaining show. That’s my buddy Corie (from Canada) at 5:51
Ah thank dude. Corrie got a hell of a view of my crash 😂
Really enjoyed that. Great effort and smart riding, good idea to conserve your energy. That 390 is almost 2 stroke like in regards to stall resistance. Certainly much better than one would expect. Looking forward to seeing more of this. Thanks for sharing.
Honestly after this day I changed the gear ratio and Day 3 and 4 were a dream
@@Motomarshyou are modest. You have great clutch control...

Ah nice choice 💪 I think I've proved to the world 4t bikes are the future and just awesome
Cracking video mate
Cheers john

For sure buddy great ride loved it 👍
Thanks for watching 🤘

Still two races to go 🤘 I'll hurry up and get them edited 🤠
great series of vids cheers for sharing👍
Not a problem thanks for watching

It's usually really good actually since I had it mapped but I don't think it liked being thrown down into the turkey rocks to be fair 🤠
Good choice. You made it to the end strong. Can't complain at that
It was a gamble but it definitely paid off in the end. I felt safer and stronger after my tea break 🤣
Outstanding Rob. Well done
Cheers bones I can always count on you dude
Awesome mate 👏 absolutely smashed the hill climb at the end
Thanks man, the GoPro didn't tldo it justice 🤣
Great race Marsh!
Great stuff and Amazing Skills! Did u See the enduro Keks Video from the Canyon. At 2.38 u got a Little refresh 🤣
Ye I got absolutely soaked didn't I 🤣 altho I was very thankful at the time 🥵
So many memorable moments in this one. My favorite might be, "thanks for the help. See ya later!"
Haha never trust the south Africans it was another South African told me there was another minute until the beach race started 🤣 5 seconds later flag drops
You killed that hill👍💪👊
Thank you buddy it was such a fun day

I ended up running running a 12 51 for there. It still hits 60 no problems but in the hard enduro it's so much better. 13 51 I run on the faster races
Cracking track and you made the right strategic choice - I could feel my arms and shoulders just watching 😮.

Definitely only 4t I saw the whole day 🤣 and genuinely think it was the best bike for me anyway. All the torque
@@Motomarsh ah so that’s why you were first then! Ha 🥇
I could fancy a 390 as opposed to another 350 KTM - much difference / have to compare!!
A tame 4 stroke is an absolute tractor!
Incredible! What an experience 🙌🏻🙌🏻
It's always been a lifetime goal so to do it 🤩 I feel ontop of the world
Yea hill climb!!! Nice work, great finish
Ye that was a sick climb
Class this mate.
Question did notice you free wheeling down some decents, any reason for that?
The reason I was doing that is because just to save fuel and also I'd cooked the clutch fluid. I had the stock dot 4 I usually upgrade to 5.1 but I had forgotten about it 😂
Fair play to you fella, well done 👏
Cheers Gazza
Any upgrades in mind for this bike/motor?

Fantastic ride Rob 100% smashed it 🍺
Cheers dude
What a track 👍👍
Loved seeing the 390 eat it up.
How good is the 4t in the open flow sections.
Hats of bro ....... wicked effort and video 🍺🍺
The open stuff is where it absolutely shines, so the fact it can do this hard slow stuff is so amazing. I'm so in love with it 🤣
@@Motomarshlooks like the bike gets a lot of grip when doing those slow climbs! Impressive!
Looks brutal on a 4 stroke
Good ride 🤘
It wasn't easy but on day 3 I changed the gear ratio and it was a different story then
What a experience that would be 👌🏻
love it, stopping to give tech advice to someone having an issue - top bloke
Were all in it to have fun. I'd hope someone would do the same for me 🤘 Moto family
My man 10:00 in 😂😂 I’m going back next year 💪💪💪
See you there 🤘🤘
Marsh your a quick learner 😂
imagine that guy getting you stuck you stop help him up and he rides off hahaha what a c***
🤣🤣 I was thinking the exact same as I was picking my bike out the hedge
That looked epic! Just curious as to what tire pressure you have on the back. BTW, I love the 4 stroke sound better than the 2 stroke.

Epic ride, love the comments.....😁
Thanks I enjoyed myself so much
Great riding....except where you fell off.
There's always room for a crash on any ride I do 🤣🤣
Top stuff, what bike were you on?
I'm on a beta 390rr racing literally bone stock apart from gearing
@@Motomarsh thanks for the reply, bloody mail service is getting slower from the UK to New Zealand. Hahaha.

Really good I would of stopped longer
Haha I think it was a wise choice too
I think four strokes will be better for this as they evolve.Smoother torque.
Exactly. It's hard for people to think about this. The down side is they over over heat apparently.... Mine didn't use a drop of water over 6 days of this
long as your happy and having a laugh stop every 10 minutes if it suits you.. loved the video as always 🫡
Thanks for the support. It worked out well I had more energy and overtook everyone that I let past 🤘
