Running an OS from a USB flash drive slows down you PI, even if it's the new Samsung Bar Plus 128GB.
try an premium microSD card or the existing NVMe SSD for optimal performance.
I'm a bit confused.Isn't that the native aarch64 version of Geekbench?
i don't have a windows, i tried install windows into a mac from 2011 haha, but need a special version, on my mac m1 windows 11 amd is not sopported, i tried with vitual machine as well but need mutipatition, i tried from the repository for command lines sh, but have problem downloading resources , using custom files, always fails, pff doesn't worth this
No, thank you. I prefer not to have an MS recall agent monitor my activities.
Technically speaking, the Recall agent doesn't exist unless you have the Snapdragon "co-processor" installed, as per the newest Microsoft platforms.
However, Windows 11 is "privacy hell" and is grabbing everything that you do - especially via Windows Defender which is acting as a "real time" malware checker that sends reports of everything on your PC back to "base camp".
Microsoft want you to pay good money for your computing device, hand over control to them and they then "lease" it back to you for you to use according to their rules. However, Microsoft is still not happy with that situation because they still have to spend lots of money on data centres (and power costs) to process all of that data that they have stolen from their -suckers'- users' computers.
That is where Recall comes in - the AI processing will be done locally on the user's machine with the Snapdragon CPU. The device will cost more than ever, and will probably have a bigger power draw so that Microsoft doesn't have to pay for the processing to be done in their data centres.
In simple terms, Recall is Microsoft "having their cake, feasting ravenously upon it, and then sticking up two fingers to the -schmucks- users while they do it."
The gameplay is not smooth at all and in software mode.
@@Xeliman-24 windows on Raspberry Pi doesn’t have gpu support
Prism only makes x86 code run, and it’s about 10% quicker than the old translation layer. Improvements in arm performance you observe are just general 24h2 optimisations. It’s equivalent to Rosetta 2 that the macs used to run old apps.
Hi friend, sorry, I wanted to ask you if I install Wor Flacher, can I download Windows from there? What would the procedure be? Download the ISO directly, the program is a guide, thanks

Not much going on here. This game ran full speed on an intel pentium 3 with on board video back in 2000. 24 years later and we’re going backwards
There is currently no gpu support with Windows on Raspberry Pi.
I’m expect the game would run on the hardware it was designed for with working integrated graphics support. In 2000 a desktop Pentium 3 was probably $1200 plus.
Half life ran at 100fps on a Raspberry Pi 4 in this video

The architecture and costs are completely different
This is great. Now we just need a volunteer smarter than me to port the open source gpu driver to windows. Is that possible? Just need vulkan from mesa and can package layers to get opengl and dx9-12 on top of that?
The video driver is part of the Linux kernel code, which would not be directly compatible with the Windows kernel - it's not a case of "just porting it" as it would be with, say, Firefox or LibreOffice.
I rid myself of my personal Microsoft abuser when support for Windows 7 ended (good riddance to bad rubbish) so I can't claim to be an expert on modern Windows - however, there is a WDM framework around Windows drivers that would probably mean a complete re-write from scratch anyway.
I still don't understand why people try to crowbar a bloated and privacy-hating OS onto the Pi but I guess it doesn't affect me otherwise.
Prism seems to affect only x86 programs, not arm
Will ARM64 based insider isos of windows 11 work with RPI 5 which are made for Copilot plus pcs?
thanks for the video, i have a question now if i want to use my pi5 to watch youtube on my tv what would be the best os for me to get the best user experience and best flexibility.
For interface and RUclips performance Android TV works well

You can turn FPS on from Steam settings, it will stay on
I was getting around 15 FPS in Halflife.
I tried steam it worked on other games, just not half life
@@leepspvideo I was testing it on a RPi5 last weekend, installed Half life and Counter Strike, the frame counter worked.
@@goyban I’m definitely getting more than 15fps
@@leepspvideo Yeah that got me thinking to go back and test again,

Hi. i want to know best way to Add power usb hub with raspberry pi 5.....
my power USB hub is connected with a 5V, 2A power supply.
I don’t understand. If a usb hub is already powered, wouldn’t you just plug it into the usb socket on the Raspberry Pi. That’s what I do
@@leepspvideo when i attech my pi to usb hub. pi automatic switch off i have to reconnect pi to power. then it working again......
You should be able to get half-life to show its built in FPS counter by enabling the Console in settings and typing cl_showfps 1
I did try that option. It would show momentarily then disappear. I have since deleted all the otherr fps counters and FRAPS is working. I need to try some more games
@@leepspvideo 🤞
Why didn't you activate the fps counter in steam to see really wich version of windows 11 is faster?
I did it wasn’t working with half life.
@@leepspvideo :) I also thought to myself that it was surprising that you didn't activate it, and FRAPS didn't work either?
❤
Thanks Lee for the update and information on your video. However, I have to be accused of being a “Flasher”…😂!

i have just a little question, is it possible to get trackmania nations forever working on the pi? ive tried countless times and cannot seem to get it to work
Windows has no gpu support on Raspberry Pi. It’s very unlikely to get any where near a reasonable frame rate
@@leepspvideo I mean just like in general, there is a version for x86 and amd64 Linux that you could possibly download, but it says wrong architecture and I was wondering if there was a workaround
@@hambuger1 Any application needs to be compiled for the platform on which you plan to run it - you can't run an amd64 binary directly on arm64 or vice versa. The only way you can do that is via an emulator.

PRISM is an improved x86/x64 app emulator that is 20% faster than XTA(x86 to ARM) that was there before. so the only thing u actually used it for was half life but no FPS count makes it almost useless to viewers. Speed improvements that u experienced for example in geekbench were due to kernel rewrite and optimalisations that was more focused on arm64.
I don’t know why the fps wouldn’t show. I did try some other 3D games but with no gpu support most didn’t run
